User talk:"Susmita Syangtan"
Welcome![edit]
Hello, "Susmita Syangtan", and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.
As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

COI notice[edit]
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Susmita Syangtan[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Susmita Syangtan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Uhai (talk) 07:37, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
At Draft talk:Susmita Syangtan you wrote that the page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is "a true biography of a Nepali singer", it is "real information", and "It reflects her true identity". All that may very well be true, but it misses the point, because the deletion nomination was not because the information was thought to be untrue, not real information, or not reflecting Susmita Syangtan's true identity; it was because the draft appears to be designed to promote her and her work. - So how should i write in a way that will be excepted for sure? Please suggest a good format. "Susmita Syangtan" (talk) 08:34, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
- Well, you can start by leaving out language such as "has received multiple awards for her extraordinary contributions". Content of a Wikipedia article should be written from a neutral point of view, and should not tell us that the writer thinks the subject they have written about is wonderful, or has made "extraordinary contributions". JBW (talk) 10:30, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the suggestion. I am trying again. Please do text again if anything is goes wrong again. "Susmita Syangtan" (talk) 10:39, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
