Using tags

Hi,

Note that in the welcome you added for User_talk:Oneartistjournal you included a {{helpme}} tag. By using the live tag this raises it for attention in the live IRC channel, so please use either nowiki or the "tl" template as I have here. I have notice that your substitutions have not worked, for example BASEPAGENAME on User talk:Botgachh. Could you review your previous welcomes too and ensure they all appear to be working? By the way, it is not necessary to welcome new accounts that have yet to make a contribution, you may want to check their edit history first. Thanks Fæ (talk) 06:34, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Just make sure that whichever template you use that it has transcluded all the templates (such as the person's name) correctly before saving.

ایرانی, just make sure you do {{subst:Welcome5}}, don't copy/paste the welcome.
