Edits to Common bully page[edit]
Hi there. It looks like you've replaced the text that was on the Common bully page with your own, which is full of mistakes and doesn't have properly formatted references. Are you planning on continuing to work on the page and cleaning it up? If so, I'm happy to help. But if you're new to Wikipedia, I should point out that it's better to incrementally improve the text and references that are already there than to replace everything. Someone might be tempted to revert all your edits if it were to happen again. Incidentally, is this a class assignment? - Hi, Yes it's just an assignment for class. Only on pages that didn't have any info/had very little at all. Sorry new to wiki didn't realise my draft would be uploaded fixed some mistakes but saved it else where feel free to edit as much as you like! Thanks --SK1511 (talk) 11:47, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
- OK, I've had a go at some of the formatting issues, but you'll need to go through and enter the citations properly using the Cite tool. Best to work on the actual wiki page in small steps rather than write offline and dump large amounts of text into the article – much less likely to cause problems that way. What you've started with is good. I'll hunt for some possible photos that can be added to the page. Which class is this by the way? Are you in NZ? Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 11:54, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
Okay, will give it a go. Didn't realise there was a cite tool, was told any referencing was okay to use! Thanks so much for the help, its a Fauna of New Zealand paper at Massey uni.
