I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Free Software Tag[edit]

It seems that one of you user subpages (User:0xd34df00d/LeechCraft) contains the tag that puts your article in the Free Software Wikiproject. I would like to inform you that this is confusing as it isn't a full blown article. Would you be so kind and remove it? With kind regards, Daimanta (talk) 00:16, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of User:0xd34df00d/LeechCraft[edit]

User:0xd34df00d/LeechCraft, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:0xd34df00d/LeechCraft and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:0xd34df00d/LeechCraft during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Pcap ping 19:48, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock[edit]

Request reason:

I'm not a sockpuppet. I'm registered for several years here, before all this stuff with deletions of FOSS-related articles. I'm also quite active in my native language section of Wikipedia (Russian), you can check it out there: http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Служебная:Contributions/0xd34df00d. What's the evidence for me being a sockpuppet? Just having the same opinion as another user?

Decline reason:

Ah, but that's exactly it. You've been blocked as a meatpuppet, not a sock puppet. — Daniel Case (talk) 17:15, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Well, there was something about sockpuppetting on my userpage. Anyway, I'm not a meatpuppet as well. Yes, I've heard about deletions of some FOSS-related articles (there was a lot of talks about it in community I belong to anyway), and I don't deny that, but does that mean that I'm a meatpuppet? No, that doesn't! I haven't followed anybody's directions, nor I had done any damage prior to blocks. I haven't done any damage to WP at all. All I've done — I've voted one time on the dwm talk page, and I haven't been engaged in further discussions on that page. It's not a meatpuppetry at all. Or is it enough to say I'm a meatpuppet of someone I even never heard about before?

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    • understand what you have been blocked for,
    • will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    • will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. -FASTILY (TALK) 00:34, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No matter what explanations may be proffered, it seems very suspicious that he hadn't edited in two years, then all of a sudden jumps into an AfD. This is the very reason we have zero tolerance for votestacking. Blueboy96 23:27, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have unblocked this user. The commotion is over, and the likelihood of any continued problems is low. An indefinite block for expressing an opinion in an AFD is, to put it mildly, an overreaction. henriktalk 14:07, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
