January 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Guessitsavis. I noticed that you recently removed content from Road signs in Lesotho without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Sincerely, Guessitsavis (she/they) (Talk) 20:52, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not create malicious redirects, as you did with Road signs in Botswana. They are disruptive and are considered vandalism, and have been reverted or deleted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. jayhawker6 (talk) 20:53, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I wanted to experiment with the effects of placing a link listed in MediaWiki:Spam-blacklist or MediaWiki:BlockedExternalDomains.json and I noticed the differences, I was going to ask the differences between those 2 pages and the abuse filter on Wikipedia:Help desk, but I found out that this IP was blocked, I will no longer add any more suspicious links per SPAM, now I just want to ask the differences of the 3 tools 😉. 103.253.27.33 (talk) 23:01, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Not going to unblock this IP range. You can turn off your proxy, unless you don't want to for some reason. Spicy (talk) 01:09, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

All you need to know regarding how the blacklists and edit filters work can be found at MediaWiki_talk:Spam-blacklist and Wikipedia:Edit_filter. To be unblocked, you'll need to convince us that your here for something else besides breaching experiments. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:26, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to create the article Project X: Love Potion Disaster (draft), it is a game and I have played it despite its explicit content, but I would definitely need more things to add for it to be considered an ordinary article instead of being treated as just a simple text without many details, If I turn off the proxy, I will still be blocked. 103.253.27.33 (talk) 21:34, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
