Welcome, please talk to us[edit]

Hello, I really hope that you do get this message and choose to respond.

You (or someone from your shared IP address) has made a lot of edits to pages related to air travel. You seem to put a lot of time into it, and some seem genuinely helpful. I'm assuming you're trying to help.

So you may wonder why people are leaving a lot of unhappy message above. Let me explain what's putting them off:

  • You're making a large number of large edits, without explaining why, or where your information comes from
  • Some of your edits are correct, but some are not (like putting Sofia as a hub for Lufthansa)
  • Some may be factually correct, but not in accordance with the general guidelines for aviation articles
  • The above means that people will either have to review your changes (which is a lot of work), or just remove them

If you continue like this, people will have your address blocked for editing - no matter your intentions. That's why it is imperative that you explain to us what you're trying to do, so that someone can help. It may help if you create an account for yourself or log in with so that the conversation gets easier.

I'm leaving a little welcome message below, that also explains how things work. Averell (talk) 07:06, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
