Concern over an alleged personal attack by this user against Jargo Nautilus[edit]

It has come to my attention that you may have conducted a serious personal attack against me over at the article Talk:China–Lithuania relations. I am therefore now officially bringing attention to this incident, and I am officially politely asking you to refrain from conducting further such behaviour or else risk being reported to the relevant authorities. It may even be wise for you to take back your initial offending comment for the good of you, me, and the wider community. By the way, I am now creating a new talk page for you. Given that you're an IP user, you neither have a user page nor a talk page (though, obviously, I am able to create a talk page for you now). Jargo Nautilus (talk) 12:49, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a link to the relevant Wikipedia policy — WP:PA. Jargo Nautilus (talk) 12:52, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In light of the fact that you are an IP user who has only basically just joined Wikipedia yesterday and may never return under the same IP address (but perhaps under a different one), I've decided to take matters into my own hands and remove the offending comment myself. I've inserted a "personal attack removed" notice in place of the removed personal attack. If there is no objection to this action, then I think my work here is done and we can redirect our focus towards more productive pursuits. If there is an objection to this action, then you can by all means provide your reasons, though I honestly don't think either the law or morality is on your side. Anyway, this is a disclaimer in case you consider my edit as a "vandalism"; it's clearly not, for the reasons I've highlighted. And the Wikipedia policy article that I linked above (WP:PA) states in this section — Removal of personal attacks — that:

Derogatory comments about other editors may be removed by any editor. However, there is no official policy regarding when or whether most personal attacks should be removed, although it has been a topic of substantial debate. Removing unquestionable personal attacks from your own user talk page is rarely a matter of concern. On other talk pages, especially where such text is directed against you, removal should typically be limited to clear-cut cases where it is obvious the text is a true personal attack. The {{RPA}} template can be used for this purpose.

Bear in mind that my objection is primarily towards your usage of a certain quotation from my own user page (which I have since deleted) that was quoted entirely out of context in the article Talk:China–Lithuania relations. For reasons that should be obvious, the content in that quotation was highly sensitive, and I was not comfortable with allowing it to remain potentially for an indefinite period of time on that talk page (or even for one more day). The quotation dates back to April 2021, which clearly proves that it had nothing to do with the discussion in which you quoted it (which has been occurring in December 2021). Do take note that I have not deleted any of your other comments, which I don't really care about; I've only deleted the offending quotation. Jargo Nautilus (talk) 14:10, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Environmental Justice Atlas, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thanks for trying to update the article, but we need to provide citations for things. CT55555(talk) 15:35, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
