Ethnic cleansing[edit]

If a source backing means nothing, then why not delete the whole page? A source backing means everything. The top of the section also states that some of the claims in the article originate from non-experts, e.g. journalists. There is more than sourcing issues involved. Just because a source confirms information, does not necessarily mean that the information is immediately relevant to the article. There are other issues involved with this information. Such as relevance and weight to the article. Any mundane snippet of information can be sourced, but how does that information relate to the article, and how much weight is attributed to it? I don't think they're being ignored - relevance and weight to the article is all very well, but that is not why this user was blanking the said sections, if you read his/her edit summaries. They did not say "removing this section - undue weight", they said "So you're black then. Just because someone said it doesn't mean it's true. A source backing means nothing.".
