January 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm MusikAnimal. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Victor Wooten— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — MusikAnimal talk 20:15, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Fourth Crusade[edit]

Hello. Your compromise "result" wording looks fine to me. Point taken about original and wider objectives not being achieved. Buistr (talk) 18:10, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your edits. I have removed the information you added about the jury verdict because you did not have a reliable source. It's impossible to know the reason the jury found Forcillo not guilty on the murder charge - it could be that they found he was justified in shooting. But it's possible the Crown didn't make out all the elements of the offence as well (not likely, but possible). I'd suggest you wait until there's a reliable source out on the reasons before adding something like that. FuriouslySerene (talk) 18:50, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Happy to wait for more sources if you'd like, but the conclusion I added is being reported quite widely across all media outlets. Please take a look here, for example, where it's explicitly stated: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/james-forcillo-verdict-1.3414974 I just feel it would be helpful to indicate what each charge means in reference to the specific actions that were being debated at the trial. The casual reader will not know what (specifically) he is guilty of doing or not doing if all we say is "attempted murder". 159.18.26.96 (talk) 19:00, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Fair point, I think you could add it with that citation. I don't really understand how the CBC can say that conclusively - all the jury says is guilty or not guilty, and there are other elements to the crime. I'll try to add something now with the citation though. FuriouslySerene (talk) 19:37, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

July 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Paul Tierney (referee), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 18:54, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
