Crevasse are indeterminate, but cliff faces especially in Nepal , with mountain plateaus well over 10,000 foot, could certainly be a source of this misinformation. If skiing on a glacier, 10,000 foot, a near vertical cliff face could result in significant fall, while leaving this poor woman’s body visible for recovery. Had she fallen into a crevasses ? Don’t think the would have found her…. But what do I know?
