I won't be doing that, and there is absolutely no requirement I do. But thanks for welcoming me to an organization I've been active in for 10 years. It makes my heart glad. 174.212.228.83 (talk) 03:03, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Franklin Academy (Connecticut)[edit]

Hi there!

I noticed that you are trying to remove content, claiming that it's a promotion even though its text that is quoted. The text WAS in fact in a quote box. A quote box does not need quotation marks, as it is a blob of text separated by line spaces, and a little - (author) at the bottom, indicating that it is a quote. Best, Zeke (talk) 02:38, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Zekerocks11, the quote was attributed to a newspaper, where in fact, it was that newspaper quoting the school's headmaster. The administrator of an organization is never a reliable source for opinions about the organization he runs. It's blatantly promotional, and misleading. I removed it again. Please do not reinstate it without consensus. See BRD if you're confused on how that works. The last thread on the talk page is dated in 2018. 174.212.228.83 (talk) 02:59, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Considering the last portion on the talk page blatantly states that someone who "fixed" up the article was a COI, then, within guidelines, could I not just label this whole article as a COI?
That quote does not provide opinions, but facts, which are backed up by sources. If you revert one more time, you will be indulged in a edit war, per Wikipedia:3RR. I suggest you bring this up somewhere, like the talk page, for further discussion if you decide this is necessary.
May I also ask where you've gotten your knowledge of Wikipedia guidelines so quickly? You seem to backup your claims through guidelines a lot. If you have any alt accounts, please disclose them. Best, Zeke (talk) 03:13, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
you need to AGF, dude. I replied to both your messages on my talk page. It isn't edit warring to make my first edit. It was the second step in BRD. Your first and second reverts of me was edit warring. You need to self revert and start a damn discussion on the article talk page. The WP:ONUS is on you to gain consensus for your position. I already did what I needed to do. Consensus is required for inclusion. It isn't required that consensus be gained to remove a change. That's how Wikipedia has worked for all 20+ years they've been around. I've edited Wikipedia sporadically since its inception. It's no one's business but mine why I don't have an account. I travel alot and post from whatever range Verizon assigns me. 174.212.228.83 (talk) 03:37, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ok, enough with the snippiness. BRD applies here. Take this to talk page and be nice. Thank you both for your contributions to the project. -Ad Orientem (talk) 17:43, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
