Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, 208.58.66.33. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Boeing Insitu RQ-21 Blackjack, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 22:25, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Yes, I am affiliated with Insitu. I have been contributing to the page to clarify factual inaccuracies and provide valuable information to readers. I am a former reporter, so I understand ethics concerns, and guidelines, etc. That is why I have been sticking to facts, such as how many people the company employs, our CEO, and our product line.
So what is the formal process here for clarifying inaccurate information? For example, the Integrator is not the former name of the RQ-21A Blackjack. Also, our previous CEO that was listed was from two CEOs ago until I changed it.
What is the process for correcting inaccurate information? 208.58.66.33 (talk) 01:10, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Greg Sankey, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. FULBERT (talk) 13:11, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What, exactly, did I do wrong? This is very unclear. 208.58.66.33 (talk) 13:39, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
