Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 213.48.15.246, has made edits to E2v, which do not conform to our policies and therefore have been reverted. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors.

You don't have to log in to read or edit pages on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free, requires no personal information, and has many benefits. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

Some good links for newcomers are:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and a timestamp. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome! Tiny beets 23:51, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

I am not the person that made the edits to the e2v page but since I have now read the message I doubt that the prompt will appear for the intended recipient. Apologies for the policy-contravening changes made. It was probably our marketing department and may happen again...

-- Your prophecy seems to be correct. If this IP address continues to edit your own Wikipedia page in an unconstructive fashion it risks being banned. I suggest informing your marketing department that WIkipedia is not a marketing tool it is an encyclopaedia. December 2016[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at e2v. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been undone.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Tiny beets 13:10, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tiny beets (talkcontribs) 13:10, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

I don't know if this will reach the right person since it sounds like a few people share this IP who edit wikipedia. But thanks for noticing and commenting on the person copying questions from external horse owner forums onto the WP:Reference Desk again. The behaviour is fairly distinctive, once I saw the post I had the same thoughts but I guess others either don't remember or don't care. Nil Einne (talk) 14:35, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

February 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CLCStudent. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Tiger bread have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. CLCStudent (talk) 16:24, 25 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

April 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Wesoree. I noticed that you recently removed content from Steinhart–Hart equation without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. -- Wesoree (T·C) 14:26, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
