October 2023[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at 2023 NRL Grand Final, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Happily888 (talk) 05:13, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
What vandalism? The timestamps matched the game clock. Clutching at straws. 220.236.126.177 (talk) 07:02, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please see WP:OR and WP:CITE regarding original research/synthesis and citing reliable sources. See Help:PG for further information. Happily888 (talk) 07:09, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 year for edit warring, as done at 2023 NRL Grand Final.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 13:07, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Admin ~ ToBeFree already determined the block was to be lifted, you can't just overrule it. Lift this new one immediately. 220.236.126.177 (talk) 13:16, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were unblocked with the understanding you'd cease edit warring. You specifically said, "Going forward if something I submit as an edit is deemed not useful there is obviously nothing I can do about it and will have to move on." Rather than doing that, you went right back to violating WP:EW. The block from Bbb23 is for your behaviour after your previous unblock. Bbb23 is not reverting your unblock, he is placing a new block upon you. This is entirely appropriate. Yamla (talk) 13:24, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

220.236.126.177 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Correction, entirely inappropriate. Reopening an already resolved dispute doesn't seem very fair. A long series of blocks have already been served, I'm not about to sit through another one. So again, you can lift this new one as it is in place under false pretenses. 220.236.126.177 (talk) 13:26, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No, you can sit through another one. You violated WP:EW and this is a new block. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:38, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • It appears that the allegations of block evasion at AN3 are correct. Back in 2022, another of your IPs, User talk:220.236.117.40, was blocked twice for block evasion of User:CodyCruickshank. Just like your other IP where you were equally combative (an understatement, actually), I am revoking TPA.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:43, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

220.236.126.177 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

If somebody were to take a look at contributions made since the most recent unblock rejection, contrary to what was previously stated, I have in fact been following disengagement and resolutions per article talk pages. For this reason I do not see why the 1 year ban should remain in place having followed what was agreed upon when I was already unblocked. 220.236.112.225 (talk) 07:57, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You didn't disengage, if you had, you wouldn't have been blocked. This block is entirely appropriate. 331dot (talk) 08:54, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have extended the block due to the recent block evasion. --Yamla (talk) 09:56, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And I have further extended it due to more recent evasion using 49.3.90.116 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). Daniel Case (talk) 22:18, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
