Changing a page name?[edit]

I'm curently working on Lottie and Ginnie Moon's pages. One uses her full name and the other uses only her nickname. Is it possible to change the titles of the pages to be more accurate? I'm a brand new editor. Thanks for your help!

I have only found a mention of a Charlotte Moon on Virginia Bethel Moon. If a secondary source confirms this Charlotte is Lottie Moon, then I'd change "Charlotte Moon" on Ginnie's page to [[Lottie Moon]]. Rotideypoc41352 (talk) 19:02, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi 222H. Thank you for your work on these pages. To actually answer your question, you can use the move function to change a page's title, see Help:How to move a page. You might want to familiarise yourself on our article title guidelines first.

Fundamentally, Moon should pass Notability just fine, and there are tons of books on GoogleBooks that discuss her. That said, a bunch of the books on gBooks are basically "10 Fun Facts!!!" kind of non-serious fluff. So since you have an array, make sure you use the best sources like books by actual academics or other established researchers, published by serious houses or by university presses, etc.

Make these fixes, then click Resubmit.

Advice on catgories (Cynthia Charlotte "Lottie" Moon Clark as example]])[edit]

Hello, I noticed in Cynthia Charlotte "Lottie" Moon Clark you were using way overbroad categories. Categories should be as specific as possible; they're not like hashtags.

So for example, instead of "Espionage" you want to drill down past "Spies", "Spies by nationality", "American spies" and end up with the correct category of Category:American Civil War spies.

Please check out this link of differences (diffs in Wikipedia slang) to show what I changed. Just something to keep in mind for your future pages! MatthewVanitas (talk) 07:39, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
