Welcome[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. -Fnlayson (talk) 17:36, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • The US Navy fact file says the Super Hornet reached "Initial Operational Capability (IOC) in September 2001 with VFA-115". Please stop changing this to the later 2002 date for first cruise. -Fnlayson (talk) 17:40, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

62 R44s Versus 63 R44s[edit]

(to the person on this IP editing the R44 article) You have in several instances undone edits stating that 62 R44s remain in service on SIR, as opposed to 63. At least we agree that car 402 is gone. However, many recent images, including this one uploaded directly to Wikipedia [1], show that car 466 is also not returning to service any time soon. Please refrain from undoing such edits. If you choose to do so, at least leave a reason for why you are undoing edits stating that 62 cars remain. Mtattrain (talk) 22:06, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

Please do not repeat your edits at R44 (New York City Subway car). If you have a reason for your change, state that reason in the edit summary. When challenged by having your edit reverted (WP:BRD), start a new section on the article talk page to ask why your edit was reverted and to justify your proposal. If the edits are repeated without consensus, this IP will be blocked because edit warring is not allowed. Johnuniq (talk) 10:12, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
