June 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm LuK3. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Angry white man, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- LuK3 (Talk) 21:13, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please summarize reliable sources, with a strong preference for secondary and independent sources. Regarding the phrase "Angry white man", saying things like The term has come into the forefront of American sociology, politics, and race conflict would need clear attribution and direct support from a source. Who says it is at the forefront, and what does that even mean? Using broad terms to imply something is important without indicating how or why it is important is a form of peacockery. I am not saying this statement is false, merely that it is not sufficiently informative. Please feel free to discuss these changes on the article's talk page at Talk:Angry white man. Thank you. • I have suggested on the talk page that, given three editors (including myself) have reverted your attempted changes to the article -- that you do not edit the article directly again, but instead post to the article talk page your suggested changes so that other editors can comment on them. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:Angry white man, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Leijurv (talk) 05:26, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
