Remove full birth date and change professional description in article on Laura Otis

Dear Wikipedia editors,

I am the subject of this article (Laura Otis, Professor of English at Emory University), so please check the facts to avoid any conflict of interest.

I am very concerned that my full birth date is appearing in the information panel that my IT advisor has told me is using Wikipedia information:

Please remove this full birth date as soon as possible, because it is extremely dangerous for it to be available on the internet. I have never given consent for this full birth date to appear.

I would also like to request a correction in the way my profession is described. The article currently reads, "Laura Otis is an American historian of science, and Professor of English, at Emory University." I do not have the credentials to be described as a historian of science, and this description is inaccurate. The degrees you have listed for me, in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, Neuroscience, and Comparative Literature, are all correct. None of these degrees is in history, although I have worked as a guest scholar at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, which I think is how the description of me as a historian came about. To make the description more accurate, could you please correct it to say:

"Laura Otis is an American interdisciplinary scholar, and Professor of English at Emory University."

I have also earned a new degree that I hope you can add to the list: an MFA in Fiction from Warren Wilson College, awarded in July 2017.
