Good morning, I wanted to give some clarification on my unblock appeal. I currently use a cell phone for my internet, and it is on me at all times. I am not sure where these previous edits have come from; there seems to be a history going back a few years. I can't recall visiting those pages either, and normally stick to history articles. With that said, I personally did not make these edits. I am not sure how the IP block works. With all of that taken into consideration, I don't have any current need to make edits to wikipedia; I just feel bad that it seems negative behavior has been attributed to my IP address. I currently have a one-year ban, from creating an account as well. Would the account creation be possible to get out of this problem? I would want to at least have the ability to differentiate myself from the said conduct (whoever is making these edits). Is it a batch of IP addresses that is banned that would enable me to make an account, or is this IP attached specifically to my computer? I went on the appeal tab (in another wikipedia page), and it said my IP was not banned. But if its a clerical error, there is probably someone out there who deserves a ban. Will I get in trouble for making an account (it says here for me not to make an account, but on the account creation page, it says that it's possible if there is an IP error), Thank you. 2600:387:6:80D:0:0:0:91 (talk) 11:00, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

As I stated above, you may request the creation of an account at WP:ACC. If an account is created for you, and you are still affected by this block, you can request unblock while logged in to your account. If you are using a phone for internet access, it is unlikely that you were assigned a particular IP. We don't know who is holding the phone making edits(though I believe you when you say it wasn't you), only that inappropriate edits came from this IP range. 331dot (talk) 11:46, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
