November 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Skeletor3000. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Kenneth Anger, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Skeletor3000 (talk) 01:25, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

  • Response First off, I fail to see how have I insulted you. I've explained my stance plainly, and made no comments about your intelligence or any other personal jab. You, however, responded by telling me to get a clue, which I'd say is an implied insult. It's a bit odd to tell someone that their behavior reflects poorly just before you embody the same behavior you claim in them. Your response to my first reversion was a link to the docket, which did not address my concern. You also failed to reference that docket in your addition to the article. Consider your wording in light of what you just posted on my talk page. It would be more accurate to say that he has not responded as of the last court session, which I believe is how the article currently reads. Skeletor3000 (talk) 16:54, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kenneth Anger page[edit]

Regardless of what his court documents say, the statement that he has not responded to accusations as of Dec 1, 2019 is absurd and categorically untrue. I hope you understand what I'm saying here, as it is currently still November. Skeletor3000 (talk) 04:38, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

November 2019[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Kenneth Anger. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. We don't need to reference what the docket says if it's unquestionably inaccurate. It's still November. No matter what the docket says, he can't have declined to respond until December 1st. Leave the article as it is until December 1st, and you can change it then if you're so inclined. Also, please provide a source. Just telling me about it on my talk page isn't sufficient. Skeletor3000 (talk) 16:43, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The lawsuit is public record and mentioning its existence is not defamatory. The court is closed through December 2 and nothing will be filed if anything before then.

  • Response As I said, you need to cite things even if they are public record. Removal of uncited material is policy, per WP:BLPREMOVE. This is still to say nothing about the fact that you're not changing anything factual about the article and only introducing unclear wording through your persistence about including a future date per the court records.
