Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Wikipedia:Expectations and norms of the Wikipedia community, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. 🥇ÀvîRâm7(talk)🩺 04:25, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Aviram7: The adjectives "neutral" and "high-quality" are coordinate adjectives, so they must be separated by a comma. Please type the sentence in DeepL Write. See also the Google Books search result for "neutral, high-quality". 2602:FC24:13:1:E4F7:9065:0:1 (talk) 04:37, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Japanese Wikipedia, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 09:18, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Adakiko: What were the issues with my changes? 2602:FC24:13:1:E4F7:9065:0:1 (talk) 09:22, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why did you remove the citations? Adakiko (talk) 09:25, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Adakiko: The New York Times article contained no mention of Nobuo Ikeda so the source was not necessary in that context. d.hatena.ne.jp is a wiki site so it fails WP:RS. 2602:FC24:13:1:E4F7:9065:0:1 (talk) 09:27, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please mention that in your edit summary. BTW: I did stated in my edit summary "unexplained content removal" Thank you Adakiko (talk) 09:29, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Adakiko: Please, this is the second time you reverted my change without giving much thought to it. I might go ahead and propose the removal of your rollback status if this happens again. 2602:FC24:13:1:E4F7:9065:0:1 (talk) 09:32, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Undoing unexplained content removal "without giving much thought to it" is quite valid. Especially unexplained removal of citations. Please don't expect others to go gallivanting about the intertubes to make sense of your edit. Please leave an wp:edit summary. Please feel free to get my ticket yanked. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 09:44, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Adakiko: Even if the edit you are reverting "without giving much thought" was the removal of defamatory material from WP:BLP? There are various valid reasons for editors to remove content from articles. It's concerning that you seem to support poor quality administrative work on Wikipedia and argue that others shouldn't have to investigate further to understand such edits. 2602:FC24:13:1:E4F7:9065:0:1 (talk) 09:55, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You still need to explain that in your edit summary. Adakiko (talk) 11:19, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Japanese Wikipedia, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you would like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.
