Your edits[edit]

Although substantive content is welcome at the beading article, its purpose is not to drive traffic to enthusiasts' personal websites. Please help expand the article by sourcing expansions to the mainstream books, magazines, etc. from which you gained your skill. DurovaCharge! 11:02, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits, again[edit]

Unfortunately, this doesn't work either. Your personal website does not satisfy Wikipedia's reliable sources guideline and cannot be used as a reference for this site's article. As I stated before, books and magazines from reputable publishers may be cited. Surely as an avid enthusiast, you have some of those. If it is your intention to improve the article, please use them. Otherwise your persistence and unresponsiveness to feedback will compel me to report this to the site's administration for conflict of interest and spamming. One more try[edit]

Yes, I do know a few things about beading.

If you would like to expand the article successfully, please use the following examples as models. They are cited to sources that Wikipedia accepts as suitably vetted and reliable.

Unfortunately, no matter how useful you consider your favorite site to be, it does not meet site standards for an encyclopedic reference. Since you love the subject so much and, as you say, really haven't looked at any other resources, it should be an enlightening experience to see what the standard reference works have to say. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 23:47, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

THanks I didn't know that!! Here's to trying it out: --3dbeading (talk) 23:53, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2012[edit]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Beadwork. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. -Uyvsdi (talk) 18:25, 6 October 2012 (UTC)Uyvsdi[reply]
