Joanna's feedback[edit]

The page is in great shape, Alyssa and Jeff. Out of curiosity, is the info on Marty Fishbein from that other existing page? And I can't remember- are you planning to add all of this to the existing EVT page or will you just create a new one?

I'm going to assign this for peer review. At this point, you'll just need some editing to clean things up, finishing up sentences, references, etc. But the writing style seems to be effective for Wikipedia, and the information covers the primary domains. Nice work! -Joanna Jml4bw (talk) 14:23, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Joanna, Yes, everything below the "Health, communications, marketing, and economics model" heading is what is currently on the page. We plan to reformat the page adding our section to it. For ease of posting it live, we added the information to my sandbox so that we could format it. 4apar (talk) 18:19, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Alyssa and Jeff, I wanted to let you both know that I moved my stuff into my sandbox. It still needs headings and such, but just to give you a little bit of context: We are adding to the existing information on Eating Disorders in general. Since this topic is so large, there are many different pages such as biological causes, behavioral causes, etc. Our page is sort of a "developmental lens" on eating disorders from childhood through adolescence. I did the early disorders, and Nora is doing the later onset disorders. Also, Nora wanted me to let you know that she is visiting relatives right now, and she will be posting her stuff tomorrow (Saturday). I will look at your article tomorrow as well. Thanks and enjoy your weekend! Kml1535 (talk) 21:17, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

~~Nora's Feedback~~ Hey Alyssa and Jeff!!

The page looks great. For the intro blurb: Expectancy-value theory has been developed in many different fields including education, health, communications, marketing and economics. Although the model differs in its meaning and implications for each field, the general idea is that there are expectations as well as values or beliefs that affect subsequent behavior.

I think it would be better to say the second sentence first, , , ,Expectancy-value theory suggests that expectations, values, and beliefs shape and affect subsequent behavior. The model has been developed in many different fields . . . .with meanings and implications of the theory varying in each individual field. (or something like that). The edits I am suggesting are just writing edits. I think the content flows really well. I don't know how to do track changes on wiki, so I think i might copy and paste the edits into word and then see if i can post them back here on your page. ~~noraarkin~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noraarkin (talkcontribs) 12:55, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
