I am not sure how to go ahead here are my additions. Please give feedback.

The Bierton Crisis was first published as a private document in 1984. This book is a true and accurate account giving the reasons for the author's secession from the Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist church in 1984. The Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist chapel is listed as a monument and was closed for worship, in December 2002 and The Association of Grace Baptist Churches became responsible for the sale of the Bierton Baptist Chapel in 2006. This book was published, on 16 January 2012, by the sole remaining member of the church and explains the difficulties the church experienced in those days. ISBN 978-0-9539473-4-8. (Note for Wikipedia reviews) The Bierton Crisis, is published under ISNB 9780953947348 and held at Bodleian Library Oxford University, The Cambridge University Library, National Library of Scotland, National Library of Wales and Trinity College Dublin in accordance with Legal Deposit libraries Act 2003 or Irish Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000.

  • It is a book published in the UK - why on earth are you telling us that it has been deposited in the usual places? Do you think it adds even the tiniest shred of notability to the subject? Please answer. And why was it not deposited in Cambridge University Library? Oops, I can't read!
Another example of your vanity. Has any reliable source reviewed your book? Has any reliable source written independently about this so called crisis? I thought not. So it does not qualify for Wikipedia. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 16:28, 25 October 2014 (UTC) updated 21:58, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist Society[edit]

Hello 519Clarke,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist Society for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Blackguard 02:32, 24 October 2014 (UTC) I am new to Wiki and am still trying to write an article. I would like to come back to this article when I know how to do things[reply]

A tag has been placed on Trojan Horse International (TULIP) Phils. Incorporated requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Bierton[edit]

Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists was tagged for deletion for a lack of strict and particular adherence to Wikipedia standards, in particular far too much bold and, much more importantly, a total lack of independent references. I have restored it to draft:Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists. Note that Gospel Standard is probably not quite the link you intended and, among your several entries, a proper article about the Association of Grace Baptist Churches would be welcomed. Needless to say, the article is about the church - there should be a minimum of reference to your book. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:23, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We only need one article on this subject and I prefer the version at draft:Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists. The only useful thing in your recent edits was the link to Bucks CC which I have used. We certainly do not need the Land Registry number. But your edits can be found in the history of the draft if you need them. Please confine discussion to this page and to the talk page of the draft - do not scatter your comments in other random places. If you want further help you are allowed to phone me - numbers on my home page. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:13, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Biblid[edit]

Pleased advize on this item that I wished to add to New Bilibid Prison

May be I should write an article on Red Dizon. He is just one of many notable men I wish to write about who are in New Bilibid Prison. The Item on New Bilibid Prison list a few men, I just simple added on more but this was removed. I am not sure why.

David Clarke 21:24, 7 November 2014 (UTC)

The book you cite as a source is not reliable by Wikipedia's standards; it's not an indication that the prisoners whose testimonies it recounts are notable. Furthermore, the content you wrote read rather promotional. Huon (talk) 00:56, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have added another notable Inmate Albert Wilson. Please advise if my references are acceptable and that he qualifies for inclusion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 519Clarke (talkcontribs)

Misplaced[edit]

Copied from Talk:Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist Society where no-one would ever see it.

I would like to complete this article but I am having difficulties doing thing correctly. I have all the information needed make a good article but I seem to get things wrong every time. I will come back to this when I get some success on some of the other article I have tried to write. Some one has put up and article Converted on LSD that I would like to contribute too . May be once I get used to doing one thing correct I can come back this and then go on to the the others like Trojan Warriors, The Bierton Crisis.

I have tried to edit the article New Bilibid Prion but my edits have been removed with not reason given. I wish I knew what I am doing wrong. David Clarke 17:00, 7 November 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 519Clarke (talkcontribs)

To show that those organizations are notable enough for Wikipedia articles you'll have to provide reliable independent sources that cover them in some detail. The most I've seen so far were some local newspapers in the US that wrote about you; I rather doubt that's enough. You may also want to check out our guideline on conflicts of interest; writing about your own organizations is not a good idea since it's difficult to maintain a neutral point of view when doing so. Huon (talk) 20:55, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please give me the references that you have found as I was unaware they existed. I have access tho the churched trusst deed the contains all its history . It is lodged with the Land Registry in the UK. WIll this be of any help ? David Clarke 05:37, 10 November 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 519Clarke (talkcontribs)

I'm sorry; I had found the references with a Google search, but I don't quite remember the exact search terms any more. On looking again I found this article about the death of your brother, and there may have been another one of similar quality which I can't find again. As I said, I doubt that's enough. The church trust deed would not be considered third-party coverage of either you or of the church and will not be of any help. Huon (talk) 23:28, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • What an utter cop-out - asking someone else to provide references! If you want the article to stick, you should find the references. Also, how long is it going to be before you learn to sign talk page comments with ~~~~ ? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:05, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am a very slow learner and this is all new to me. Any help is appreciated and guidance welcomed David Clarke 15:27, 11 November 2014 (UTC)

Huon Thank you for the reference that helped me understand about how things work. The article in question is Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists (or Society) and when you said you had found a reference to me, in the US, is was mystified thinking that you meant Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists and not me personally,or and article for me, as I was unaware any article had been written about Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists. That is why I asked for the reference. I have many reference that could be used but I am new to Wiki and just learning how to submitted items. I have submitted photos that have been rejected because the are images of News paper articles and they have been rejected as they are now my work. I have also had my photos rejected for the same reason when in fact they are all my own work. This creates frustration and I feel i need help David Clarke 14:52, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with photos is that we need some evidence that the copyright holder has released them under a free license that allows everybody to re-use and modify them for any purpose, including commercial purposes - otherwise we'd be open to copyright violations. I don't think newspapers commonly release their articles under such licenses; thus photos of newspaper articles are not acceptable. Given that practically all images you have uploaded so far, not just the newspaper photos, have been problematic, other editors have become cautious about simply accepting your claims.
Regarding the newspapers, you shouldn't photograph them but cite them (see WP:Referencing for beginners on how to easily cite print sources); provide enough detail to allow our readers to look up the newspaper in a library archive: Name of the newspaper, the exact publication date, page number, title of the article, author, ... Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted. Here's why:
The book is not notable. According to worldcat, it is in only 3 libraries [1]. Wikipedia is not a place for publishing memorials.

Unless the book--the book, not the individual--receives references providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources, not press releases or mere announcements, do not resubmit it

Why sign[edit]

Why do you feel it necessary to apply a non-signature, eg. "David Clarke 08:41, 24 November 2014 (UTC)" every time you edit your vanity page? Please reply. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 02:08, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I do not understand what a none signature is . Please explain what you mean by vanity page and which page are you referring too. How do I reply to RHaworth? — 213.104.226.208 (talk) 06:50, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As I say, a non-signature is for example "David Clarke 07:47, 26 November 2014 (UTC)". It resembles a proper wiki signature but it is not one because a proper wiki signature contains links to the user page, the user talk page or the contribs history - preferably all three. Your vanity page is Draft:David Clarke (author) - one of the worst cases of self-obsession / vanity that I have ever seen. This is the right place for your reply. Now please answer my question: why do you apply these non-signatures? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:15, 26 November 2014 (UTC) I am still not sure what a none signature is. I sign with the four tide marks, as instructed, as I assume in doing so my log in name is automatically attached as my signature.[reply]

If I am required to add my log in name along with four tide marks I was unaware. It seems to me that to add 519Clarke along with four tide marks to each change is very inefficient method of editing. I am just not familiar with the policies. Also please answer my question what do you mean by vanity for we are told: Ecclesiastes 1

1 Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 1 9 What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1 18 For in much wisdom is much vexation, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Ecclesiastes 12:12  And further, my son, by these words be admonished: of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness to the flesh.

How are you using the word. I am in the dark as to how you use the word. Please confirm that I have sighed out or in right. 213.104.226.208 (talk) 15:27, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Draft:David Clarke (author) 213.104.226.208 (talk) 15:27, 26 November 2014 (UTC) 213.104.226.208 (talk) 15:17, 26 November 2014 (UTC)519Clarke213.104.226.208 (talk) 15:17, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have only been criticized for not doing it, or doing it wrong and any instructions that I have been given are not been clear, at all. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Does this help? Theroadislong (talk) 16:22, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Thank you. This is what I had been doing after I was criticized for not signing out. Now recently I have been asked why do you apply these non-signatures? — RHaworth (talk · contribs)

All I am aware of it that I have been using the four tide mark when signing out from editing an article do i need to add anything like Draft:David Clarke (Author)

When editing a article am I so sign out in any particular way because that is what I have not been doing only the four tides David Clarke 16:35, 26 November 2014 (UTC)

The purpose of signatures is to easily keep track of who said what in discussions. Thus you should sign only edits to talk pages (or other places of discussion within Wikipedia), not edits to articles. You seem to have customized your signature in the preferences so that it no longer links to your user page, user talk page or contributions. Such a link is required (see WP:SIGLINK for details). You can add more than one such link (as RHaworth has done), but you should have at least one. Huon (talk) 23:17, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I had no idea what I was doing when filing in detail to the Preferences page so i have gone and reset this back to default, in order to start again. I now need to know how to sign out of an Article that I am preparing in the sand box. Which is Draft: David Clarke (Author. I also need to know how not to apply a none signature. My log in name is 519Clarke. I understand that 4 tide waves is a sign out after edition a talk page but I do not know how to sigh out after editing the article in the Sandbox. Please advise. David Clarke 00:27, 28 November 2014 (UTC)

Articles should not be signed at all. Unlike talk page comments, articles are collaborative efforts, and we cannot have every editor sign them. Huon (talk) 01:01, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please Help[edit]

What has happened to my Draft Article Converted on LSD ? I created an article under title Converted on LSD some week ago. An editor noted, in green, that it had been checked out ???. When I went to update it today I could not find it so I stared a new article in the Sandbox, as suggested by the Wizard, I used the same title. I worked on it all day uploaded some pictures, on the commons site, but two were wrong and could not remove them- so I have left them even after trying to upload the correct ones. I then click the tab to submit the draft for consideration but was redirected and eventually told it could not be moved

I don't know what has happened but I am informed it may take several week to review but am not sure if it has joined the cue

Please advise.

I am rather new to this and have had many tries seeking to write articles but with no success as yet. I have also been pulled up for using material that is allegedly copy right. The book I cite clearly says "copy all you like" [1] on the printed imprint page, so I am seeking help on this to. Do you think it means I must write what I write in my own words and seek permission from the publisher to do so ? David Clarke 18:36, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Are you honestly suggesting that you did not write the page with the intention of publicising your experience, and telling the world the "good news"? If you didn't, then I really don't know where to start explaining to you, because that is the way it reads to me, from start to finish; "what is considered to be promotional material" is the whole of it. Your submission at Articles for creation: Converted on LSD (February 5)[edit]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by LukeSurl was: Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved. LukeSurl t c 15:07, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Are you suggesting that if the the book was listed with Wikipedia under a Creative Commons license I could make citations from it without a problem. ?

David Clarke 16:32, 5 February 2015 (UTC)

  • I am not convinced by what LukeSurl has written. I would have thought that "copy all you like" would be a pretty clear indication of releasing the content into the public domain. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:55, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The publication is in the UK so what form of certification would one need, from the publisher to make the citation acceptable. Is this where the reams of documentation come is ? Also is it possible to point out precisely, by giving an example, of one set of words that indicates the bias of the site neutral point of view and if not neutral and does that mean any thing quoted from it , even if not published on that site but another, the citation is no use. Please also be patient with me, how can identify which web site is acceptable for a citation ?

Hello, 519Clarke. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 16:59, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
