March 2021[edit]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Talk:Aryan. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Wham2001 (talk) 07:33, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

I didn't attack other editors. You all did when you continued to dehumanize Indians whenever we tell you that there is no evidence for your racist, white supremacist beliefs about our people and culture. This man spent months sharing the same debunked news stories, some from even earlier years, to debunk factual information from Harvard University to claim David Reich's research said the opposite of what it did. Any time this racism is pointed out, you all call us "Hindutva" or whatever else to dehumanize any non-Whites who disagree with you about the facts about our own culture that you're trying to claim came from your ancestors without proof. You are all a bunch of racist, white supremacists and I will call you out on what you all are. In fact, look at your response just now: "The brown person is talking, time to silence them." as typical of you so-called "wiki editors" on here. Anything an Indian says is not allowed to be heard by White Supremacists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.126.88.42 (talkcontribs) 08:22, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You are not being silenced: if you would like to have a discussion about the source that you presented then you are welcome to post to the article talk page again, but without the personal attack. What you must do, however, is to treat other editors civilly and with respect, even if you don't agree with their edits and don't like their politics. Referring to other editors as white supremacists is unacceptable. Please read the Wikipedia policy on personal attacks, which you are obliged to follow if you wish to continue to edit here, and consider this as a final warning that, if you attack on other editors again, as you did at Talk:Aryan and in the paragraph above on this talk page, you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Your edit confused Narasimhan et al. (2018)(pre-print; peer-reviewed Narasimhan et al. (2019)) with Shinde et al. (2019), more specificically Shinde's spin of his own results and publication, contradicting his peer-reviewed publication. See this thread. April 2021[edit]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Talk:Aryan. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. I'm not the one who reverted your edits. If you want to contribute positively, please delete your talk page accusations and try your edit again (but without the promotional tone or the links to CVs). Your recent editing history at Aryan shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
