January 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Samuel Wiki. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on David Drummond (businessman), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Samuel Wiki (talk) 00:26, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to David Drummond (businessman).

No source I have seen states that Drummond is leaving Alphabet due to sexual misconduct complaints. The Verge even reported "It is unclear if his leaving the company is related to the investigation’s findings, but Drummond is reportedly leaving the company of his own volition." Yes, it is possible that he is but Wikipedia does not publish speculation or unverifiable information. If you have a source backing up the claim, add it to the article. Further addition of the information without a source will be reverted. Samuel Wiki (talk) 06:26, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
