Hello, I'm LJF2019. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Bill Foulkes, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. LJF2019 talk 12:11, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Football is just one aspect of sport, which is just one aspect of life in a county. So the coverage can never be more than a summary. There are dedicated articles about the clubs, that are easy to reach from the county article. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 22:56, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As John Maynard Friedman has explained to you above, articles on English counties can never give more than a summary of sporting activities within the area. Football is only one such activity, and it's not appropriate to add details of each and every minor football club you know about. Even if you were to include sources (which you have not done), your edits would not comply with WP:UNDUE. If you have sourced information to add, you should add it to articles about the football clubs themselves. MichaelMaggs (talk) 07:37, 3 August 2021 (UTC)I[reply]
