I work for Granta magazine and we have just changed our website; I have been trying to correct all the Wikipedia links to that site but have been blocked due to vandalism. I assure you that my editing has been entirely in good faith and any vandalism has been entirely accidental. I have tried to direct links to our new homepage rather than to an irretrievable old page; this might look like advertising, but isn't. When Wikipedia editors objected to this, I tried deleting faulty links, but this seemed to elicit more obections. If unblocked I promise not to direct links to the Granta homepage, which might look like advertising, and promise not to delete links. When I find faulty links I will simply note on the page that they are faulty. Once again, I promise that I was only trying to correct Wikipedia links to our website, www.granta.com. Thanks for explaining. Is this IP fixed to you? Would you consider creating a personal account (i.e. not one that has Granta in the name) and putting an explanation about what you are doing on the talk page for future reference? Many of the links were just being replaced by www.granta.com, and repeated edits on external links are the typical mark of a spammer trying to get their site linked just right. Sorry for the confusion, and if you need any further help, drop me a note on my talk page.
