Judaeo-Portuguese

Hi, you should have another look at the article, and at Talk:Judaeo-Portuguese. Don't worry too much about the two messages at the top of this page; Wikipedia's rules are a little tricky, but the core thing to keep in mind, is that everything added to an article has to be verifiable, which means that it's possible to find reliable sources that confirm the added information. I believe your heart is in the right place regarding Judaeo-Portuguese, but per the WP:Verifiability policy, it's true that you can't just add unsourced assertions to the article, saying that "it doesn't exist". That's why you got reverted at the article, with the accompanying explanations for those reverts above.

So, the way to approach this, is not to add something to the article saying it doesn't exist (which as you rightly point out in your talk page comment, is unprovable as a negative), but rather to *use* the verifiability policy to your advantage, and remove parts of the article that are not sourced. That would be the entire article. So, that's pretty much what I just did: I removed everything except for the first sentence, and some links at the bottom. I also left a comment on the Talk page that anything added back in will be promptly removed again, if it is unsourced, because that's what the Verifiability policy requires.

But that leaves the first (and only) sentence, and that's also unsourced; if we remove that, there's no article. Which is maybe the correct solution: no article. To get there, you have to follow a procedure called, WP:Articles for deletion, which explains how to remove an article from the encyclopedia. If you want to do that, I can help you.
