Information icon Hello, I'm Ed6767. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 7th Heaven (season 2), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Ed6767 (talk) 00:27, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

April 2021[edit]

Warning icon Construction dates. I have reverted your changes to St. Joseph Cathedral (Buffalo, New York) (27 Feb) and St. Peter's Episcopal Church (Niagara Falls, New York) (19 Mar). My edit summaries were:

  • No, text explains that building went into use 1855 but was completed 1863 [my typo, s/be 1862]. See also "dedicated" and "consecrated" parameters in same infobox.
  • Source day [sic, autocorrect error, s/be "says"] construction began in 1873 and completed 1880. Expressing construction in the running text as a range is correct, reducing it to a single year is wrong.

Going around Wikipedia and changing numbers without explanation and without a word of English is not helpful. Pelagicmessages ) – (09:21 Fri 09, AEDT) 22:21, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Regarding your changes to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary.
