Constant Reverts[edit]

Hello. I have noticed your contributions. Personally, I don't recognize the "Coptic flag" either, as the Coptic Orthodox Church doesn't, but that's no reason to say that "the majority of Copts don't recognize it either", as that statement is more of an opinion than a fact. It's enough meaning to say that the Coptic Church doesn't recognize it. I would like to inform you about something, however.

Please DO NOT edit too many articles without putting in a valid reason in your edit summary or discussing the matter.

Also, I should let you know that it is against Wikipedia policy to constantly revert edits without reasoning, or to continuously make major changes without discussing, or to make controversial edits without making sure that is not biased (see WP:neutrality). These edits, if not verified, are identified as Vandalism.

This is just a warning, but the problem persists, then I will have to report you and the articles (Copt, Coptic flag, Template:Copts) will be protected — you will be blocked from editing in that case. ~ Troy (talk) 17:58, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, I just reverted it back since someone keeps reverting it without any explanation. The majority of copts do not even know about it since there is barely any "community" (or sokesperson or opinion...) outside the Coptic Orthodox Church. Alright, I'll admit that I got a little too carried away. Sorry about reverting your edits, but I assumed that your edits were vandalism. As for the talk pages, I didn't see much about this issue — it was a little confusing. Either way, the page is protected for the next little while, so lets not get into an edit war again. By the way, what does "sa7 ya 3am" mean? (I know that it's Arabic for something,but I don't know what.) Anyway, I look forward to compromising with you folks on this issue.
