ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Brake check[edit]

Hey. Do you feel that maybe a deletion review of the closure of the brake check AfD would be appropriate? The bare bones rationale followed up with the generic "they had stronger policy-based arguments" without going into any detail concerns me. Hi GhostOfDanGurney. Yes I did think that. A very generic justification (none on the AFD page itself) and not providing very satisfactory answers to your questions (no answer yet to my question), and a non-admin closure. I think it should be reviewed by more experienced closers. I think per the requirements of deletion review we should give them a chance to reply, at least 24 hours. Yes, I figured by their editing history/patterns that we likely wont get another response until early tomorrow (UTC -5) and should at the very least wait until then. -"Ghost of Dan Gurney" 22:53, 28 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And based on their response, I don't believe we'll get anywhere without one now. -"Ghost of Dan Gurney" 17:06, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
