Regarding your revert, we are on the same page. Please carefully read my edit summary and the changes I made. "De jure" and "de facto" are used to describe opposite situations, one that is happening and one that is the official account. "De facto" does not just mean "in actuality". Using "de facto" to describe a genocide implies there is an official account that is the opposite to it, but there is no "non-genocide" nor a "de jure" genocide. A genocide either happens or it doesn't. To labour my point, Taiwan is a de facto country because the official position of the PRC and UN (de jure) is that it isn't a country. The Uyghur genocide can't be a de facto genocide because what international or national body with official recognition is arguing that there is a genocide only in name ("de jure")?

Also, don't throw around labels like "communist", "POV", and "propaganda" at a Canadian who was born in Hong Kong. Do you really think I'm pro-PRC from one edit? Or is it because my name is in Chinese? I am so tired of pro-CCP editors calling me a psy-op, Western shill, imperialist, etc. and Western editors calling me a communist, a slur, or wumao, etc. Please think of what you're saying before you type it out; Wikipedia has rules on these kind of value-laden labels, unlike social media. Assume good faith; if I was actually a pro-PRC editor, I would have been blocked a long time ago and not been allowed to edit for 8+ years, I assure you. Yue🌙 20:14, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
