Phoenix Suns Alternate Logo Error Fix

You were right. There was an error in the logo and i fix it. A clipping mask was missing in the SVG file and i didn't double check the file after the upload. I think the logo is in good shape now. Come back on that if you see an other mistake. Thanks to you and sorry for the delay, i don't upload anymore on wikipedia cause it's a lot of work and most of the people here didn't respect that. Category:Brooklyn Nets players

Will you please stop adding Category:Brooklyn Nets players to articles? The consensus at WP:NBA is to add a player category only if the player has appeared in at least 1 regular or postseason season game for that team. The Brooklyn Nets players is an entirely different category than New Jersey Nets players, and until the end of October 2012, not a single player belongs in in it. I think I figured out what the problem was; the "6th place" in the title line was messing things up. You should be able to edit it now, although I think there is some value in leaving the M. in front of Gasol, so that people quickly glancing at it know which Gasol it is. April 2013

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give New Orleans Pelicans a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Please do not add that the Bakersfield Jam have attained a new franchise or rumors of possible affiliations. The Clippers "fact" comes from an editorialization from a local paper and the only facts we know are what has been announced here, which states that the D-League and Ellis/Higdon are in negotiations but there is nothing conclusive about a future team yet to announce. At least I'm glad to hear you understand why I felt questioned by it. To be honest, I felt like not including the source myself the first time I saw it (almost thought it was a typo, believe it or not). However, there was something in my mind telling me if they got the first scoop on his confirmation, it must have meant something went down (if only in private), and those guys were the first to at least somewhat confirm it. It might have been an anonymous source kind of thing. Sometimes those sources are wrong. Since the article was written recently it might not be public information. I won't be surprised if we get something official in the next few days. Alright, but even then, it's still someone that currently is out of place with the rest of the group in question. Granted, if Tyler Cook decided to exit the draft, this conversation will be completely irrelevant for the point of the draft (at least until either 2019 or 2020, but that's just semantics at this point in time), but until then, I just don't see the situation at hand. If he's drafted this year or plays in the NBA, he's going to get an article anyways. Look, let's be realistic with most of these names that are in the college section for just one minute. You know for a fact that most of these names would likely never play any professional basketball minutes ever again after college. Granted, some of them can make their cases in due time, but you can't seriously tell me with a straight face that someone like Dextor Foster from ASA College (a place I never even heard of before he tried to enter this year's draft that's also a for-profit university) would realistically still be playing basketball for the long-term. Well, realistically you actually never know. D2’s Ferris State’s Zach Hankins is on the list and I’ve looked for sources - he meets GNG. But we just give the benefit of the doubt that the players who declare early could meet GNG until it’s proven they don’t. There are tons of editors who create articles for red links, which is what red links are for at the end of the day. If you Red link an article where it has has already been proven the subject doesn’t meet GNG, you are just setting up an editor to waste their time writing an article that is just going to be immediately deleted. Yeah, we could go through each red linked pkayer and do a source search to see if they meet GNG and de-link those that don’t, but that isn’t all that worthwhile given the temporary nature of many of the names on the list. I'll second what Toiletpaper101 said, please stop with the overuse of "would" in your edits. I repeat, please keep the content you add precise and concise. For example, in this edit, you wrote:

I noticed that a lot of articles that you write are filled with the word "would" when describing something that took place in the past. For future use, the frequent use of this conditional tense should be avoided in most cases. For example, this sentence that you wrote:

This can be correctly written as:

Request reason:

I had previously made a detailed enough request in the Unblock Ticket Request System thinking I was banned from even my user talk page, when apparently I wasn't in my e-mail response in regards to it? Honestly, I'm not going to question that one. Instead, I want to appeal my case by apologizing to mainstay Wikipedia members where I might have acted like an ass towards, for lack of a better word or term, and wanting to showcase that I'm willing to listen to you guys on whatever is absolutely necessary for me to improve my stay around here for the future. I also want to showcase that in regards to the problem of "IP hopping" in mind as something that I have not intended to do on my part, to showcase that I would plan on showcasing myself around with my proper whenever I might be on a different computer or other operating system at hand for future reference, in the event that such a thing is absolutely necessary for me to do in the future. Finally, I want to prove to anyone in question that I am not related to the user known as A Great Catholic Person whatsoever. This might take a bit, so forgive me if I ramble on too much.
When it came to any prior animosity I had in mind during late 2018 and early 2019 in particular, I admit that it related to my anger at the idea that I felt like I was making edits that I genuinely thought were being helpful towards multiple articles, yet it felt like I was being attacked despite trying to do everything in my power that I possibly could have at the time to make sure my edits were passable to the goal of Wikipedia. After that point, it just felt like what was being done felt like it was near the point of malice at times; even though I now get that wasn't the intention of edits from users like DaHuzyBru and Bagumba in particular, that kind of mindset at the time was what lead me to feel like I shouldn't even bother responding towards some of these members altogether in relation to their response edits. That was wrong of me to do there, and I'm truly sorry for that. Anything you guys want to air out to me here, you're free to do so now. I still do like this place, and I still want to prove myself as helpful for it whenever necessary. That's why I want to say any advice that you can give to me there to help me change my ways, I'd be glad to take in mind to try and utilize in the near future in the event my block is lifted.

As for the problem with multiple IP addresses, that's something I never intended to do on purpose (save for that one time from that aforementioned period of time, but even then, I still planned to follow that IP ban naturally otherwise afterward). I do use incognito mode from my operating systems (yes, I have more than one) I use for reasons I wish to not go into at this point in time. Another thing of note is that sometimes, when I do look like I'm editing from another IP address for some reason, it sometimes relates to me having to reset my router to connect onto the Internet again after it decides to stop working on me for no particular reason, which is definitely something I hate when it does happen to me. In those rare occasions where it's not that (though it does look more and more common due to me going out a bit more lately), it is admittedly me coming from other locations (i.e., my mom's house or somewhere else on vacation like New York, Michigan, or even Canada at one point), with any more recent occasions coming from my local library, gym, or even community center. It definitely sucks when IP addresses are attached to you and they get changed without warning sometimes, especially in relation to Wikipedia's standards. That's why if I'm unblocked, I want to showcase who I am a bit more often, regardless on what operating system I'm on or where I'm at. I also hope this helps explain what goes on with me; I do not hold any virtual private networks or anything that could be considered malicious like that.

One more thing I want to touch up on is the recent slander of my name to another user that looks to hold a similar user name in terms of how they're showcased. While I admittedly don't know where A Great Catholic Person lives within this world, I have no connection with that guy whatsoever (besides, I don't think he's even a fan of the Phoenix Suns in the first place). For starters, I have never edited anything here as a different Wikipedia user, even with the temptation in mind. Next, while I don't know what A Great Catholic Person's interests were exactly, I would think it's safe to say he wouldn't be interested in editing for articles like XXXTentacion, Psychopathic Records, or even music in the black metal or death metal genres (or at least, remain neutral about it as opposed to reacting rather negatively about them (like I presume he would have)). Finally, and I would think this would be the breaking point in terms of comparisons with the guy in question, my religion is not Catholicism. While I do believe in a God and was raised with Christian beliefs, my religious beliefs are more ambiguous to the point of regular theism (mainly believing that there is a God and that all modern religions with one are can be considered equal to each other in terms of beliefs and overall value with life itself) than it is relating to regular Catholicism. Again, I don't know this guy at all, but I hope I made a compelling case proving that I am my own individual person and not someone's clone or puppet or whatnot.
In conclusion, I would like to say I hope I made a compelling case to be unblocked here moving forward. If I am, I promise to take whatever advice that may be in mind for me to consideration to make sure I never repeat this situation around here ever again. I never intended to be malicious towards anybody when it comes to anything I might have said in either my edits or summaries within my edits, and I'll make sure to watch my language towards anyone in question around here the next time that kind of thing comes up. Furthermore, other interests are in mind within my life, and I would hate to not help any of those other interests out just because of some stupid lapses of judgment on my end. First, thanks for that. Second, if I'm being honest, I think part of it is just plain laziness on my end. I know it's not the best excuse on my end, but it genuinely does relate to just plain being lazy sometimes. If you want something that feels more tangible, it's honestly just something I thought at the time was something that felt completely optional on my end, with the account only being absolutely necessary if it felt like it had to be, like for protected pages. After all, some of that was what I thought was mainly for anyone to edit was where I could edit something good for a page and it would be useful without having a direct credit at hand there (provided it doesn't require an addition source or two for citation purposes, of course). Seriously, imagine the awkwardness of editing something positive for the San Antonio Spurs or Los Angeles Lakers when you're primarily a fan of a team that you'd consider to be heated rivals. That's the kind of thinking at hand for at least those particular pages in mind. As for other pages, well the only real incentive besides editing protected pages is the fact that sources can be added without any CAPTCHA insertions, which a.) are very easy to figure out and b.) can sometimes be unintentionally funny, hence why I honestly didn't mind not logging on most times.   • It's in relation to the WikiProject talk about the Phoenix Suns, correct? If so, I think I can answer that by saying most of that was probably at a way too huge size in regards to responding back to anyone properly. I mean, with something like this, I'm honestly okay with responding back to people since it's only just one (or two) people at a time. However, when a subject has already been given tons of discussion and it doesn't feel like there would be anything worthwhile that I could say in regards to what might have gone on, I guess I just thought the best bet on that end was to not play at all. I mean, I had already edited in other places beforehand, and I figured those edits in those other places would be enough to showcase that I'm still good in your minds. Granted, I should also admit the past few years haven't been kind to myself as a whole, never mind my favorite team in the first place. It's possible events relating to my own personal failures from these past few years might have affected me on that end as well.     • If you actually read the discussion, it is far more about your on-going unsourced, or poorly sourced, edits, which is also the reasons you have been blocked in the past. Most recently, edits such as this edit yesterday stating the Jazz had clinched a playoff berth when in fact they were still a win or Kings loss away (which was WP:NOTCRYSTAL, even if they did clinch tonight), or this edit that stated the Lakers had fired their coach when they had not (which even if hidden as a comment is still unencyclopedic). It also talks about your usage of Wikipedia as a fan blog and overuse of WP:EDITORIAL phrases. Honestly, if you truly have that much emotional attachment to a subject that your tone cannot be made neutral, it may be best to step back from editing that subject for a bit (please read WP:WIKIVOICE and MOS:WORDSTOWATCH).       • Ah. I get you now. In the case of me thinking Utah already got their playoff spot yesterday, I was mainly looking off of records alone. That was because of the Los Angeles Clippers having the same record as the Utah Jazz at that time, which was 45–30. As for the Luke Walton firing, I admit that was definitely presumptuous on my end! That is something I have no convenient excuse for, even if one does believe Luke Walton is indeed going to be fired after this season's done with. And yeah, I guess I do use some websites a bit more often than others, even though I have little reason to trust ESPN properly these days. Regardless, I do want to try and fix up that editorial situation of mine as best as I possibly can for next season. (I mean, I could do that, but the regular season does end by April 11, and it'd be a bit difficult to prove I can change the editorial problem wherever it might come up.) Of course, considering the regular season is just about over with, it's nearly too late to say I would change that attitude downright immediately before the end of the season came up. So you know what? Maybe this off-season would be the best time and opportunity for me to do what you said in taking some time off there until around maybe May, if not near the end of June. • Comment. The blocked user was asked more than once to add sources, to stop adding speculation and/or breaking news, to look at the words he use when making an edit, to stop using contractions and be neutral among other things, but continued to edit in the same manner despite his promises to change. If he failed in the past (I lost count of how many times everyone advised him) then why should other editors think that it will change this time (he has already been blocked three times in a span of one month back in November/December 2018 with the last block being extended)? In addition, editor's personal problems should not be taken into account, because they are not related to Wikipedia, and if they impact his editing then no edits should be made at all until personal stuff is sorted out. – Sabbatino (talk) 15:04, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
