Yuka and Yuka (disambiguation)[edit]

Hi. I undid your edit to Yuka (name). Because Yuka will accumulate incoming links needing disambiguation (see Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links, the convention now is to use a companion redirect to hold legitimate links to the disambiguation page: Yuka (disambiguation). That way, when someone checks incoming links to Yuka, they can ignore the legitimate links because those are linked to the redirect. --Una Smith (talk) 22:34, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FILMS Questionnaire[edit]

As a member of WikiProject Films, you are invited to take part in the project's first questionnaire. It is intended to gauge your participation and views on the project. At the conclusion of the questionnaire, the project's coordinators will use the gathered feedback to find new ways to improve the project and reach out to potential members. The results of the questionnaire will be published in next month's newsletter. If you know of any editors who have edited film articles in the past, please invite them to take part in the questionnaire. Please stop by and take a few minutes to answer the questions so that we can continue to improve our project. Happy editing!

Request for opinion[edit]

Hi, I and my fellow editors are facing a deadlock on a issue of removing/toning down few lines on 'Allegations of Human Rights violation against the Indian Army' under 'criticism of the operation' section in Operation Blue Star article, concerns include WP:NPOV, WP:SOAP & WP:V, the summary of dispute can be found at [1]. I would request you to kindly go through the article and please let us know your views/opinion at the talk page of the article so that npov, balance and undue weight concerns may be looked into and a consensual solution may be found. Thanks LegalEagle (talk) 05:42, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Move of films with Italian titles[edit]

Please see this on WP:AN/I. (Despite the title, some of the films are Italian, not Spanish.) Ed Fitzgerald t / c 04:53, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:Evalp.jpg)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Evalp.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 22:21, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spyware[edit]

After clicking on the Blender (software) link form the Graphics Lab, I followed the URL to the website (www.blender.org). After installation began, I got a pop-up from my Comcast Spyware software saying it had found large ammounts of Spyware in the software. Then I tried it again today to see if there was any difference, and sure enough, still Spyware. Should there be a note on the Blender (software) page & Graphics Lab's page?

I have nominated One Hundred Steps, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/One Hundred Steps. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. →ROUX 19:52, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, good catch with this article. Seems that somebody pasted over a useful article for the Italian film "I Centro Passi (The One Hundred Steps") with information about their band sometime in June. Here is how the film article formerly appeared [2]. If you check what links to the page - [3] - it is all film-related links. I have placed my recommendation to revert back to this former version on the AfD page. - AKeen (talk) 19:18, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
