Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Weegeerunner (talk) 21:27, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Articles and their "talk pages"[edit]

Hello again, ALPCA 5632. I'm Peter in Australia and I edit Wikipedia under the screen or "username" Shirt58.
Wikipedia's encyclopedia articles also have pages where you can discuss the article content and talk about improvements. For example, you can discuss the article Vehicle registration plates of Pennsylvania on its "talk page" Talk:Vehicle registration plates of Pennsylvania. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and we look forward to hearing your views about the article there.

Hi ALPCA, assuming that stands for Automobile License Plate Collectors Association, I am a member as well. Assuming you are logged in and have seen this request and other conversations, I strongly encourage you to respond or at least participate in the discussion. December 2014[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making personal attacks, holding a battleground mentality, edit warring, and refusing to communicate, as you did at Vehicle registration plates of Pennsylvania‎. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  v/r - TP 22:04, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked your account because you were edit warring on Vehicle registration plates of Pennsylvania. When editors attempted to communicate with you, you made accusations of threatening behavior [1][2][3]. And you've displayed a behavior of article ownership when you claimed that only members of your specific club should be editing the article [4]. You've refused to communicate with other editors despite attempts to communicate with you.[5]. All of those behaviors are not conducive to collaborative editing and are disruptive to the project. If you would like to be unblocked, you'll need to describe how you'll interact with other editors from here on out.--v/r - TP 22:08, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
