Hi AManWithNoHands! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of James Tour several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:James Tour, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war.

If you are reverted again I suggest starting an discussion on the article's talk page. You might be right (I have no opinion either way) but being correct is not a acceptable reason for "edit warring". I will leave you some additional information about editing Wikipedia. I tried the "keep it short" route, but was told to go to the talk page, followed by a suspension. But, thanks, I will keep this in mind. The person, I am talking to seems to agree with the edit. So can you reinstate it (I am not allowed). AManWithNoHands (talk) 20:08, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, I will not reinstate the edit as consensus is required which has not been achieved (doesn't appear so anyway...hard to follow) and is the purpose of the talk page discussion. That didn't turn out so bad, did it? Now that there is consensus, if someone else wants to restore the content in whole or part, they will need to gain consensus and will need to provide adequate sources to do so (which may not exist). Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to James Tour while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing.
