Hi! It's so nice to meet you, and I'm so happy you're interested in helping out WikiProject Women scientists. It looks like you're figuring out the wiki markup okay, but I'll point you to the Introduction for new users anyways. There's a lot of helpful stuff there, especially about references, that you should check out. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! What's your major/field you'd like to write about? That'll help me narrow down some projects you may want to work on. If you want to expand an already existing article, there are a lot of really important female scientists that have severely underdeveloped biographies, in every field. We are also missing literally hundreds of articles, some of which are on our worklist. I have some great resources that I can point you to for biographies, some databases and biographical dictionaries (a few are even just for women scientists)! I'm happy to help with anything you may need. Biographies are a great entry point for writing about science on Wikipedia, because you get to write about the theory and experiments in the context of someone's life and discoveries. Okay, here's a suggestion. Elizabeth Cabot Agassiz was a naturalist and educator who had a really interesting life. Her biography needs a lot of work - very few references, not fleshed out.
