It means the bot identified the IP you use as an open proxy. Unless the computer you're using is the only one on that IP address, it doesn't necessarily mean it's been compromised. Daniel Case (talk) 16:10, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi a request

On the german version of wikipedia http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulu_%28Sprache%29 there is a more info on tulu including its morphology and phonetic but i can't get to align the boxes it appears properly on the english version could you please add that info on english wikipedia.you can translate the geramn page using google translate thank youLinguisticgeek (talk) 15:15, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

hi,thank you but the translation wasn't the problem one can do that if you type tulu sprache on google search it shows the translated page.what i couldn't do was to align the boxes on english wiki properly as on german wikipedia.i wanted help in that anyways thanks for the help and who is this user gyopi seems to making some really good edits on malayalam script and tulu script article.is he a fellow malayali.another observation i read on some blog that malayalam evovled out of tamil when the nairs/bunts and namboodiri/shivalli started migrating from tulu nadu.They migrated from achichatra first to tulu country learnt tulu then statrted the migration to kerala and it is their tulu sanskrit tongue that twisted tamil so badly that it became malayalam ofcourse just a hypothesis no proof available but nice one to read.Linguisticgeek (talk) 07:52, 30 October 2009 (UTC))

Are photos ready?

ARUNKUMAR P.R, I just made a place holder for the intro photo. [1] If a better photo is available, please replace it. If more photos are ready, you might want to post a few one in proper sections (like "You can see two different kinds of chandrakkala in this photo" showing such a sample in the 'chandrakkala' section.)

Hi, i added the info on the english page though some german letters are missing.i believe they are specific german characters with no equivalent in english anyways even the ezhnava billava being original inhabitants is debatable because they supposedly have sri lankan origins.you might know there is this tribe called koragas.they call them selves muttale arasas which means kings of the coconut land.They are very dark almost like africans but have very sharp feautures and silky hear and all almost same knowledge that the brahmins have about ramayana and mahabharata but they are very few only 5000 population.in gramapadhati and keralolpathi they are called as the first people to set foot on parashurama's land.God knows who are the real inhabitants.anyways really appreciate your efforts.Linguisticgeek (talk) 12:40, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Would other users understand? I would hope they would per WP:AGF. Perhaps someone can find an even better solution, like using an archived version of the page.

Citing the Britannica is OK, although as a tertiary source, it would be most acceptable if no other, more secondary source could be found for the same information. Daniel Case (talk) 18:18, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Well i do believe the article is propaganda thats it. full of anti tamil bias and what shocks me is the sentence that sanskrit is derived from kannada.never heard something funnier than that.i suggest protecting the article is a good idea,but the article itself is 60%crap,something needs to be done to improve it.i think some K.R.K. weirdos are behind it.Linguisticgeek (talk) 09:07, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
