Yes, back after a long break :D --vi5in[talk] 23:24, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Signature

Hello, would you mind shortening and toning down your signature? It's too large, too showy, and has too much wiki-markup in it (I had to fix the recent RfA you !voted in, as the markup in your signature "broke" the numbering system. Perhaps check our policy regarding custom signatures. Thanks! Tan | 39 14:12, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Your signature still seems to be causing problems. I noticed that it had the effect of striking other text on the same line. Could you simplify it some more please? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:31, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
It might be something to do with the size of the text...maybe, Lord Spongefrog, (Talk to me, or I'll eat your liver!) 13:28, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
  • I've moved your signature out of templatespace and also pared it down below 255 characters [1]. Please ensure you observe this upper character-length limit on signatures and also consider pasting your signature directly into the preferences box rather than subst'ing it. –xenotalk 19:16, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Greetings. I undid your reversion on this article. The anon editor was absolutely correct in his addition. I made the same mistake about 30 seconds before you. Regards - 4twenty42o (talk) 06:39, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Regarding your reverts on my talk page

Thanks for reverting the user's edit on my talk page. I was going to do it. The page he vandalized (Duty-free shop) is unconstructive, not my revert. He did it again on my talk page and you reverted it before I was about to revert. I hope he is blocked immediately.  Merlion  444  11:12, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Revert thing

Hello. I noticed you reverted this. The blanker-er was actually the article's creator, and was maybe trying to get it deleted. Unfortunately for him, I don't know if he is still qualified as the article's only substantial contributor, but perhaps you should drop him a note about it to explain, maybe even remove the warning... you don't have to, just a suggestion, Lord Spongefrog, (Talk to me, or I'll eat your liver!) 13:25, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Protecting my user page

Thanks for the reverts on the vandalism! It's all to do with an ANI report I made, so I've added the vandalism to that report! Thanks once again, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 02:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

You're Welcome.. :) arunkumarcheckmate me 04:36, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for reverting all the vandalism on my user/talk pages! That guy was getting pretty rude wasn't he? :-). — Oli OR Pyfan! 06:27, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

  • Fastily indef. blocked him for block evasion. — Oli OR Pyfan! 06:35, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
I believe you encountered a sock of User:JarlaxleArtemis. See WP:LTA/Grawp. Regards, FASTILY (TALK) 06:38, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

My edits

I did not make an unconstructive edit, I asked a question, as a user who isn't 100% on how the site works I asked a question and I don't need an unhelpful, arrogant comment from a typical wiki user, I wanted to know what to do in the future.Mbr1983 (talk) 09:48, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

In that case leave your queries on the users talk page rather than on his user page.Leaving comments on users user page is considered as vandalism.arunkumarcheckmate me 09:50, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

thats fine but again I think you jumped down my throat with out actually reading what I wrote on the previous persons page.Mbr1983 (talk) 09:54, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Well I apologize for sure to you as well, no hard feelings and this isn't directed toward you, but a lot of people on here (imo) are unhelpful and look for trouble. Thanks for your time, and if I make a mistake again let me know, I'm happy to here from well intentioned people, so that I can better learn to use the site.Mbr1983 (talk) 10:01, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: New York Television Festival

The current version of New York Television Festival is very different to the version deleted in 2007, so it does not qualify for speedy deletion. It also skirts the boundaries of other CSD's - it doesn't meet CSD A7 because it asserts importance, it's not written like an advertisement, and as far as I can tell it's not a copyright violation. Also notice that plenty of articles mention the New York Television Festival, so I think the page should be improved, not deleted. Not that I know where to start. Graham87 11:54, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for clearing the doubt. :) ...It was just that I too had the same assumption. The subject of he article is notable. But still, when I saw that the article was deleted once, I thought that its previous version may had some defect that this version carries too.So I just put it for deletion.Again, thanks for the help..

"Red Rider Ranch"

When the original author blanks the page as was done in this article, you don't need to revert the change. Just add {{db-author}}. Eeekster (talk) 03:47, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

The author could have just blanked it, instead he chose to write vandal there.Thats why I reverted it.Anyway, thanks for informing me...I didn't know that user was the articles author... :) arunkumarcheckmate me 03:53, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

RE: Sotiris Ninis article

I removed incorrect information and opinion that does not constitute fact, which i would expect from a wikipedia article.

Being a football journalist, I know how contentious some issues can be and player descriptions rank as such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.254.135.82 (talk) 04:00, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
