Do you have a source you can point to for the story about the alarm clock, and about his children/grandchildren? We should really start adding sources and/or citations to this article; it is partly my fault, as I expanded the article and didn't add my sources to it. (I don't have any special interest in the Maldives, by the way - I'm just a random Wiki editor, in the United States.) Brianyoumans (talk) 15:04, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi there. I noticed you've tagged this image as being available under the cc-by-sa-3.0 and GFDL licences but I can't find anything which confirms these as valid. The Flickr image page simply says all rights reserved whilst the Flickr user's page sates that the content is licensed "under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 2.0 UK: England & Wales License". File:Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.jpg]].
