Metacomet Ridge[edit]

Hi there, I noticed that you've made a number of recent edits to Metacomet Ridge, an Fa article. While most of these have been productive, in one case you added unsourced material. Please do not do this. Citing the name of a professor in your edit summary is not considered a source. Thanks!--Pgagnon999 (talk) 17:59, 28 January 2008 (UTC) Modified. --Pgagnon999 (talk) 18:06, 28 January 2008 (UTC) Yes, I can see that you did not delete anything. However, you have added unsourced material. If you can't provide a source for it, it will be deleted, as the article is currently a FA article. Please provide a legitimate source for your information. Thanks. --Pgagnon999 (talk) 18:09, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Although I appreciate your effrts to add material to this article, there are a lot of people who worked hard to get this article an WP:FA promotion; when you add unsourced material to it, you immediately doom the article to removal of its FA status. Please make sure that the material you add is properly sourced (using the WP:Style); otherwise it might be more productive to suggest it on the article's talk page instead.--Pgagnon999 (talk) 18:16, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Signature and user name[edit]

You ought to auto-sign you talk page posts using four tildes (~~~~) it auto-magically changes into name and time stamp. If you want to display AA instead of your user name in your auto-signature you can alter it through the signature section in the preferences link at the top of the page.

If you wish to change you user name (but not to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/AA AA) as that is taken), you can do it via

Talkback[edit]

Hello, AndyAnderson. You have new messages at Talk:Stop Trump movement.
Message added 23:29, 11 August 2016 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, but please do not delete entire sections, as you did to the article List of Republicans opposing Donald Trump presidential campaign, 2016, without giving a proper justification. There may certainly be good reasons to remove entire sections from articles, but doing so requires justification. Valid reasons for blanking sections include (but are not limited to):

Please note that I don't like it is NOT a valid reason for removing information from Wikipedia.

You may cite your reasons in the edit summary, or in the article's talk page if you need more room than the edit summary affords.

Thanks again,

Zlassiter (talk) 05:41, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

List of Republicans opposing Donald Trump presidential campaign, 2016[edit]

Looks good. I discussed starting an article like this on a talk page a few weeks back, so I'm happy to see it.

One thing, though - is this necessarily the best title? Some of these people aren't saying they're opposing him, just that they won't support him. I think that could be seen as slightly different. Blythwood (talk) 22:14, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks; this actually started on the “Stop Trump” page but those authors didn’t feel that such a list was appropriate for their vision of the organized effort, so I moved it to its own page. I batted titles around for a while, "oppose” seemed the simplest single-word antonym that would capture not voting for, not supporting, not endorsing, or actively opposing. Given that they are all Republicans who in other circumstances would unquestionably support their nominee, “oppose” doesn’t seem too strong a word. -- Andy Anderson 01:37, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

Indenting[edit]

I mean, you have one preference and I have another. I was fine with the mixed use but you went in with re-jiggering my posts to align uniformly with your style. I wasn't going to and don't plan on changing in the immediate future of this discussion and so moved things over to the general usage across talk pages. Therequiembellishere (talk) 07:37, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sorry you don’t have a considered opinion on this instead of simply expressing your preference. — Andy Anderson 07:41, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, sure. I'd rather focus on the headache Zlassiter's stirring that we're both working on than have you harp at me for something of little to no consequence. Therequiembellishere (talk) 07:44, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Neonatal Nursing Hall of Fame moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Neonatal Nursing Hall of Fame, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
