Request for review

Hi AaqibAnjum! I would like to request you for reviewing my draft page Epos 257 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Epos_257). I know that it was already reviewed and unfortunately declined, nevertheless I have rewritten it and I would like to ask you very much to check the article if at least a little possible...Thank you very much! @User:GiantSnowman very harsh don't you think given I tried to restore the article to its sourced vandalised state. I urge for restraint in posting such warnings with no merit Abcmaxx (talk) 13:55, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
You blindly reverted my edit, restoring both vandalism and unsourced information about a BLP. You need be far more careful in future. GiantSnowman 13:57, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Legia Warsaw (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Articles for Creation: List of reviewers by subject notice

Hi Abcmaxx/Archives, you are receiving this notice because you are listed as an active Articles for Creation reviewer.

Recently a list of reviewers by area of expertise was created. This notice is being sent out to alert you to the existence of that list, and to encourage you to add your name to it. If you or other reviewers come across articles in the queue where an acceptance/decline hinges on specialist knowledge, this list should serve to facilitate contact with a fellow reviewer.

To end on a positive note, the backlog has dropped below 1,500, so thanks for all of the hard work some of you have been putting into the AfC process!

Sent to all Articles for Creation reviewers as a one-time notice. To opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page. Regards, Sam-2727 (talk)

USL Dunkerque

Hi, I have reverted your edit to USL Dunkerque which added the club nickname as "Les Pigeons". This was unsourced, and I cannot find a reliable source which quotes this nickname. The only place I can find it mentioned at all is on the Polish wikipedia page. Please provide a WP:RS if you are going to add this information back into the article. Cheers, Gricehead (talk) 09:06, 13 July 2020 (UTC)

@Gricehead - fair enough. Did a bit of research and added the correct one now with references Abcmaxx (talk) 14:03, 13 July 2020 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Maister1921. Your recent edit(s) to the page AZS Częstochowa appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. As for an already experienced and highly privileged user you seem to have a problem finding any sources that could prove you right. I see it's quite impossible regarding the club does not exist, but it's always worth taking a look into AZS (Akademicki Związek Sportowy) structure, club ownership, seeing a difference between AZS Częstochowa SA, Eco-Team AZS Stoelzle Częstochowa (previously AZS 2020) or any other club associated with AZS, like for example: Indykpol AZS Olsztyn and AZS UWM Olsztyn. However, if you are still not convinced, is it so hard to begin a talk page, ask any other users related to the discussed article or simply go straight to the source, the Polish article and ask there? Thank you. User:Maister1921 (talk) 11:07, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

Hello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits on the page Warta Zawiercie (volleyball), while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. You can also take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Would be really nice to begin a talk page before mindlessly merging the articles without any notice. Thanks again! User:Maister1921 (talk) 11:07, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

@User:Maister1921: 1. Stop overusing the word "vandalism" just because WP:IDONTLIKEIT. 2. I did add sources in the external links therefore stop reverting my changes.Abcmaxx (talk) 11:43, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

Sections for single-sentence reactions

Sections for countries that had only one reaction regarding the Israel–United Arab Emirates peace agreement, like Egypt and Jordan, is not necessary. It's an unnecessary waste of time and not important or notable for its own section when there's just two or three lines. They can be grouped together. It's a waste of space otherwise. CWKS Resovia (basketball) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, CWKS Resovia (basketball), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. @Onel5969: Before taking such drastic un-reasoned actions I suggest you discuss before you start moving articles, not the other way round Abcmaxx (talk) 14:03, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

National League

Hello. I see that you have moved National League and redirected the title to a disambiguation page. What plans do you have for fixing the 8,000+ pages which link to National League? WP:MALPLACED is also relevant here. User:Certes 22:13, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

Not all of those links refer to the baseball league though, so even if you move it back the same problem is there. Abcmaxx (talk) 22:41, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
I've fixed the 30 links which didn't refer to baseball, most of which were recent additions for National League (division). Certes (talk) 00:43, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Stadium moves

Hello. Re your requests at WP:RM/TR: I just wanted you to know that you should be able to move these back yourself. As long as there are no additional edits to the redirect, any autoconfirmed editor is able to move an article over a redirect that is pointing back to it. @User:Mccapra I've asked you before, yet you still ignore me, to DISCUSS FIRST, and not make unilateral decisions.Abcmaxx (talk) 13:19, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Hi. You created an unsourced article. Another reviewer tagged it as unsourced to give you a chance to add the sources required for it to remain in mainspace. Two weeks passed and you had done nothing to improve the article, so I sent it back to draft. New Page Patrollers are responsible for keeping unsourced articles out of mainspace, regardless of discussion with article creators. To avoid draftification in future please add sources when you create an article per WP:ORG and related policies. Many thanks Mccapra (talk) 13:43, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

@User:Mccapra Complete nonsense; subject passed all the notability guidelines for the topic and in general, a stub article is still allowed to exist, it did have a source, two weeks is not a significant amount of time, thirdly I asked you before to notify me before draftifying out of politeness, you went ahead unilaterally and didn't even try to engage at all. Regardless, if you wanted to really help you could have added some sources yourself rather than taking the lazy route. Patroller's primary function is to help not impede. Abcmaxx (talk) 16:36, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi there’s no objection to a stub at all, but a stub still has to be properly sourced. Just linking to the website of the topic itself is not good enough. It’s the responsibility of article creators to source their articles properly. Like I said it’s the job of patrollers to keep articles that don’t meet sourcing requirements out of mainspace. You can save yourself the inconvenience of having articles sent to draft by sourcing them when you create them. Mccapra (talk) 16:59, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

Polonia & Stoczniowiec

Hi, I agree that there should be a disambiguation page to alleviate any confusion. I have therefore made a disambiguation page for both Polonia Gdańsk and Stoczniowiec Gdańsk. OLLSZCZ (talk) 10:32, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
