Welcome![edit]

Hello, Abergleitner, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Your recent edit to Lil Skies[edit]

Hi Abergleitner, I reverted your recent edit to Lil Skies for two reasons. Firstly, you had replaced some of the references with numbers in square brackets, possibly by copying text out of the browser and then back into the editing panel. This loses the information about the reference which is key for verifying the content in the article is correct. Second, you appear to have been using ChatGPT output as a reference. Please don't do this – large language model AIs are not suitable for use as sources in Wikipedia. You can find more about which the best sources to use are and why here, and about how to "do" referencing correctly here. Good luck with your studies, and I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! It's fun once you get the hang of the basis, though the first few edits can be tricky. Best, Wham2001 (talk) 18:13, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
