If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ranjeet Jha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of Uvaa[edit]

The article Uvaa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of satisfying Wikipedia's notability guidelines.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Uvaa for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Uvaa is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Uvaa until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 13:02, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Deepali Noor.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Deepali Noor.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Steel1943 (talk) 02:32, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Deepali Noor.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Deepali Noor.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:32, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

signature[edit]

When you post to a page, please don't forget to add your WP:signature to the end of the post. To do so, just add four tildes ("~"), like this: ~~~~. --David Tornheim (talk) 11:54, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Meghdeepbose.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Abhigupta.93. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Abhigupta.93. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Abhigupta.93|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS (talk|c|em) 17:12, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@GSS: Why do you think this editor is being paid? The editor denies it here. I have interacted with the editor and they have not be unreasonable. Please see the talk page at the article Meghdeep Bose. --David Tornheim (talk) 19:39, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

After further digging, I did see some further evidence, but I want to hear what made you come to that conclusion. --David Tornheim (talk) 19:40, 29 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@David Tornheim: I guess you already have seen on-wiki evidence but there is some off-wiki evidence too that confirm undisclosed paid editing. Thank you – GSS (talk|c|em) 03:17, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@GSS: Yeah, I did. It took some digging to find. I find it questionable that the evidence was deleted with the misleading edit comment "added more", and it was done so right before the most recent edits on Meghdeep Bose. I think it would be worth asking the editor why this action was taken or admonishing the editor for the removal. I would also support restoring the material if no reasonable explanation is forthcoming. --David Tornheim (talk) 03:42, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that's a bit tricky. I have filled the SPI already as I strongly feel this is the same person who created Meghdeep Bose. GSS (talk|c|em) 03:54, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like that was already declined. I would have supported the CU after having this discussion and considering the evidence. What is the "behavioral investigation" mean? I'm not convinced they are the same editor, but I think there is good reason to suspect they might be the same. If you would rather discuss any concerns off-wiki, I'm fine with that: Telling the editor everything fishy upfront might make it easier for dodging, if editor is hiding something. --David Tornheim (talk) 04:13, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The old account had timed out thus CU was not useful. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 12:46, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You need to list all the articles you have created for your clients? Thank you – GSS (talk|c|em) 07:17, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@GSS: As I mentioned earlier, I have not created any articles for "clients" on a paid basis. i was offered the same earlier by a PR company and I created the payment disclosure prior to even working on the article. However, I did not go forward with creating the article since the subject did not have citations and looked like a PR stunt. I forgot to remove the tag at the point and only remembered that I should remove it when i started work on this article. I did not understand the consequence of deleting the tag and thought it is to be mentioned on an "per article basis". Hence the tag I created was for an article that was to be named "Jaivindra Singh Bhati", where i mentioned the employer to be a certain "Revolution Media Co.", the agency that offered the assignment. Since I did not work on it, I deleted it, and added a line about me in the user page. Thank You
Except Revolution Media do you know Deepali Noor, Vijay Vijawatt and BCL Punjab personally or professionally? GSS (talk|c|em) 07:45, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I do not know any of the subjects you mentioned in a personal or professional capacity. I have found details about these subjects while browsing through Indian media magazines. Thank You User:Abhigupta.93
  • Per WP:BEANS and WP:OUTING I'm not going into further detail here. Admins considering unblocking are welcome to email me for details on undisclosed paid editing. Thank you – GSS (talk|c|em) 08:02, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly, also clarify why the image was flagged for copyright issues since I clearly stated it was taken from an online magazine and I had also provided the source to the same. User:Abhigupta.93

Please read WP:COPYVIO. You can't simply take work from a magazine and put it on Wikipedia. Wikipedia does not own the magazine does it? --David Tornheim (talk) 09:13, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Abhigupta.93: Can you please restore this material and apologize for removing it? Also, will you promise that if you are permitted to edit again that you will not give misleading edit summaries such as "added more" when in fact you had deleted information? --David Tornheim (talk) 09:19, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@David Tornheim: I duly apologise for summarising the edit to be "added more". Although I had referred to adding of information about myself to my user page, I did not mention expressively about removing the paid tag. I would restore the material, but would need your guidance of how i should put it up since I did not ultimately work on the paid project or create the same article and was not paid in any form for the same. Out of honesty, I had put up the badge even before starting work on the article. I definitely assure and promise I would take greater care in providing summaries while editing when permitted to edit again. Abhigupta.93 (talk) 09:34, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@David Tornheim: Kindly guide on how to put up the paid tag and also contribute in a better way to Wikipedia. I spent some time researching on this topic and would love to put up that content for this article (Meghdeep Bose) in the proper format. Thank you Abhigupta.93 (talk) 06:02, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Doc James: Kindly unblock me so that I can contribute to this article. Thank You Abhigupta.93 (talk) 06:06, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have not disclosed yet. We have evidence that this has occurred. You have not been truthful with us. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 06:07, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Doc James: I am utterly confused at this point, because there has been no paid work , and the only time I was offered and I had declared it with the paid tag, I did not work on the assignment of creating that article. I also do not know how to respond to your accusation, since I dont know what you are referring to. Abhigupta.93 (talk) 06:18, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It also came to my notice right now, that out of the three articles mentioned above, I have not even ever worked on this article : BCL Punjab. Abhigupta.93 (talk) 06:20, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Just to remind you 04:24, 10 February 2016‎ Abhigupta.93 (talk contribs)‎ . . (3,367 bytes) +3,367‎ . . (Creation). GSS (talk|c|em) 06:43, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies, I did not remember properly regarding this article. Did not get paid for it either ! Also, this seems a pointless discussion/argument at this point, since I have no clue what I am responding about, and have serious questions about the authenticity of the same "evidence". I'm tired and dont think will be contributing any further after this ordeal! If you feel the information provided in the articles are untruthful or poorly sourced or paid for or something similar, I believe as powerful admins, you do have the power to remove them completely. Thank You Abhigupta.93 (talk) 08:52, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock decline[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Abhigupta.93 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

There has been no payment made or recieved for contribution to this article. Please share the evidence that you mentioned so that I can respond to them. Please note, as I repeat again, there has been no payment recieved for this article. Unfortunately it is impossible to provide evidence of something that has not occurred, else I would have gratefully shared the same. I have also mailed the blocking administrator regarding the same to remove the block. @GSS: @David Tornheim: : I just viewed the queries you mentioned above and will try and explain the entire part for the same. Firstly, I am not the same editor as earlier. Kindly check the IP address for activities. I am confident you will be able to assess the same correctly. Secondly, regarding the "evidence being deleted" from my user page, Please note this. Few months back, I was offered by a certain PR company to create a wikipedia article on a person (Jaivindra Singh Bhati). Hence I had created the paid tag myself declaring the subject, the agency and myself being paid. However, I did not complete the assignment or create or publish the article on wikipedia since there was a heavy lack of citation and the subject looked like a phony PR setup. If you can check my activity you shall see the tag of paid services was created around the month of April,2018. I completely forgot to remove the tag as i got busy with work after declining this assignment. Hence, when I started working on the "Meghdeep Bose" article, I figured i should remove the earlier declaration of paid services since that was not applicable on any front at all. I assure that I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for my edits. I do not know the subject in person. I repeat, the information I had gathered was from news articles that I had mentioned and cited in the article (some of which are Hindi language newspapers and IMDB profiles). I was of the impression that IMDB information is citable as I had noted in some articles earlier. I had spoken regarding the same in the discussion and talk page as well. I apologise for not having the correct formatting here or not being able to provide perfect citations in the article, and assure you i will doing the same further forward. However I truly believe the block is unnecessary as there has been no transaction or paid activity. I am hopeful you will look into the same and unblock me Abhigupta.93 (talk) 06:47, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 18:55, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Very interesting[edit]

You might wanna try to cross verify whether the information put was genuine or not, rather than running after me on whether i got payments for that !
