I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}} before the question.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Dougweller (talk) 12:18, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ANTH 410 Assignment[edit]

I know you're an experienced Wikipedia editor now, but please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions about this assignment. Hoopes (talk) 17:52, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You should probably choose a title that does not include quotation marks. Maybe a title such as "Vampire burials" or "Vampire skeletons"? I know these are both broader than just the Bulgarian examples, but you can construct an entry that discusses the topic in general and then has a section on specific examples. Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:56, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Capital letters in section heading[edit]

Thanks for your edit, but we use capital letters in section headings only for the first word and proper nouns, see MOS:CAPS. Dougweller (talk) 12:20, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Hunbatz Men has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Insufficient notability - all of the sources are press-releases, self-published (youtube) or references to not particularly important books. Does not pass WP:AUTHOR.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
