Just wondering, how many edits do you need to nominate yourself for admin? Can someone please answer my question?Acnh Player (talk) 17:04, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[edit]

There is no "edit count" criteria for becoming an admin. See Wikipedia:Administrators#Becoming_an_administrator; particularly, the candidates should generally be active, regular, and long-term Wikipedia editors, be familiar with the procedures and practices of Wikipedia, respect and understand its policies, and have gained the general trust of the community part. Nominating yourself after less than 50 edits, very few of which have been constructive, has a zero chance of going anywhere. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:40, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I will make another 500 edits before thinking about it again. Acnh Player (talk) 02:18, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Suonii180 (talk) 23:10, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Alexander Glustrom. AussieWikiDan (talk) 03:48, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bruh, I just fixed the grammar Acnh Player (talk) 05:20, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You changed the award name to be incorrect. Your editing, even if in good-faith, is disruptive and you have been warned numerous times. AussieWikiDan (talk) 05:41, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have been a little bad on wiki in my other account. I was editing a page and deleted all the text. The auto filter caught me. The same thing happened again. Then, on the Tom Nook page, I added two sentences that weren't necessary. That led to the ban in my other account. I did too much. What I will do differently is that I will only make positive and necessary edits. For example, I see wrong info. I fix it. I won't delete all the text, repeat the same word a trillion times, and other bad things. I understand what led to the block. I will not say "they broke the rule first!!". I will reflect on what I did wrong instead of accusing others. I decided that I will never do anything bad on wikipedia again. And sorry for creating another account, I didn't know it wasn't allowed. I tried my best to stop. Since my other account got blocked, 8 days ago, I thought of what I did wrong. I created this account to try to make positive edits, not to be bad. I am so sorry.Acnh Player (talk) 00:43, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Nope. You'll need to request unblock from your original account. Talk page access revoked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 01:48, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
