A Barnstar for you![edit]

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
Hello, ActualJoe! Do you still remember me as the one you asked about signatures? I want to give you your first Barnstar for your excellent anti-vandalism work! Keep up the good work! Nice custom signature, by the way. LPS and MLP Fan (Littlest Pet Shop) (My Little Pony) 01:04, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Friendly tips[edit]

Hello! I noticed some requests for help on your user page, so here's some answers. You can find out how to add userboxes at WP:UBX, where you can also search for userboxes. If you are using Recent Changes (which I highly recommend) you can at filters that would show you only edits that are bad faith. (There are still some OK edits, but the majority are bad.) If you want training in counter-vandalism stuff, you can follow the instructions at WP:CVUA when your account is a bit older and you get about 200 or so edits. I hope this helped! Also, please either reply on my talk page or ping me if you would like to respond. Yours, Puddleglum 2.0 20:29, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing: I don't care much, but it is technically not allowed to reproduce signatures on Wikipedia, like you did on your user page. It's fine to link to my user page by inserting Puddleglum2.0, but you can't reproduce sigs. (If you just edit this page, you will be able to copy-paste the link into your page.) Thank you, I don't mean this aggressively, just to be clear. :) Puddleglum 2.0 01:33, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Alright thanks for the tip! I added in your sig because I wasn’t quite sure how to insert your user link. Sorry! ActualJoe ❯❯❯ Talk 14:38, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, no problem! If you are curious about anything, please feel free to stop by at my talk page and ask, or ping me here. Yours, Puddleglum 2.0 16:12, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warnings[edit]

Hello again! I was looking at a couple of your recent contribs and saw a couple f incorrect warning templates. Can you please take a lookthrough here (and if you haven't already, here,) to familiarize yourself with the different types of templates? Alternatively, you could request going through a CVUA course, which honestly I highly recommend, having gone through one myself. The two trainers look pretty busy and they might not be near your time zone (mine is in the US), so I could take you through it if you would like, but your choice of course. Anyway, just some friendly tips! Puddleglum 2.0 17:07, 27 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Just another reminder: please remember to not only revert edits, but also warn those users who commit the vandalism. This has two main benefits:

  • It gives the user a chance to see the error of their ways and
  • It gives administrators a history to look through if the vandaliser ever gets reported to AIV. It gives them a reason to block.

Anyway, just a reminder, please take this constructively, I don't mean to discourage you. Overall, you're doing great! If you want, I would love to nominate you for rollback if you want. Also, I still think you should give CVUA a try, there is another user who is now willing to train, and they are very experienced. Your cal of course though! Thanks, Puddleglum 2.0 00:32, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

^^^Sorry, I dislike reiterating this, but please warn vandals, it makes it a lot easier on other editors and administrators. Thanks! Puddleglum 2.0 22:34, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nice job![edit]

The Excellent New Editor's Barnstar

A new editor on the right path
You've done a great job in your first month of being an editor, thank you! Puddleglum 2.0 00:23, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi my edit wasn't vandalism[edit]

I realize you dint say it was vandalism, but I want to emphasize that anyway. Just a quick listen to Runaround Sue etc will confirm it. You may disagree,(although why anyone would disagree is a bit shocking)but a quick look at critics(secondary sources) will back me up. Note that the prior facts stated in the article are poorly sourced anyway.144.35.115.51 (talk) 21:35, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will make sure that I will throughly examine every edit! Thanks ActualJoe ❯❯❯ Talk 00:13, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

Hi! You want me to nominate you for the ROLLBACK right? It helps one fight vandalism and grants you access to advanced tools such as Stiki and Huggle. I think you're ready, so if you want it, let me know here! Thanks, Puddleglum 2.0 18:20, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I sure do! I like going through the recent changes tab, and it would be nice if you did! Thanks! ActualJoe ❯❯❯ Talk 23:09, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted[edit]

Hi ActualJoe. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! – Juliancolton | Talk 05:41, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nice job! I'm so sorry I didn't notice you put in the request, but looks like you didn't need help! You'll do great with this new tool! Note that you can now instal Stiki and/or Huggle. If you choose to use either of them, I would recommend starting with Stiki, because Huggle forces you to make decisions a lot quicker and under pressure, while you can take your time with Stiki. Either way though, you'll do great! Congratulations again, Puddleglum 2.0 19:13, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback please[edit]

Hi could you help me rollbacking a page I created to my last edit? It has been vandalized since then... Page name is ProfJam... Sorry to bother you but I couldn't find anywhere else to request a rollback. ✘ PHOSPHOR | 💬📜 22:19, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
