Bonjour Adam!

Reo-Coker

[edit]

Why did you remove reo-coker from the villa page. He is currently an Aston Villa footballer as can be seen here [1] and elsewhere. Thanks Woodym555 17:30, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That is true, in which case you should delete the shirt number not the player. He is in the squad, he is currently in pre-season training and as such he should be in the article. Woodym555 17:33, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to List of English football transfers Winter 2008-09 has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Thanks for uploading Image:The Wombats - A Guide To Love Loss and Desperation.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 11:53, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Hispania F1

[edit]

I've reverted the changes of Campos to Hispania, mainly because the name change has not yet been approved by the FIA and in fact, for similar reasons that Sauber is still known as BMW Sauber, the name change may not actually be approved. With Wikipedia we wait until after something has occurred to record it, not predict any outcomes, refer WP:CBALL. Wikipedia is not a news source, there is no race to get news onto the web. Accuracy is far more important than speed. Also the changes to Template:Campos Meta actually broke the template making it very difficult to edit as the links to editting of the template actually pointed to a non-existant Template:Hispania. Please be more careful when editting templates. --Falcadore (talk) 23:08, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:New Cardiff City Football Club crest June 2012.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:New Cardiff City Football Club crest June 2012.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Morning Sunshine (talk) 13:05, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:New Cardiff City Football Club crest June 2012.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ÐℬigXЯaɣ 13:40, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Hello, Adam mills2005. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Shopcade, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:01, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article List of English football transfers 2009–10 is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of English football transfers 2009–10 until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. NickSt (talk) 11:19, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Blueharts Hockey Club has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Couldn't establish WP:NOTABILITY

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your draft article, Draft:Ilana Fox

[edit]

Hello, Adam mills2005. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Ilana Fox".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
