If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fidelity Japanese Values, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Cult of Green (talk) 11:09, 28 August 2014 (UTC) Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Fidelity International a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.[reply]

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. A tag has been placed on File:Fidelity-International.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Help me[edit]

Im updating this page: Fidelity International and I'm getting these messages:

A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (November 2015)

  • Would it be possible for an admin to change the page so it complies with your issues and has the issue boxes removed? Greatly appreciated. Adehemsley (talk) 12:41, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article contains wording that promotes the subject in a subjective manner without imparting real information. Please remove or replace such wording and instead of making proclamations about a subject's importance, use facts and attribution to demonstrate that importance. (November 2015)

  • Hi, Could you let me know the subjectivity that requires becoming impartial? Many thanks.Adehemsley (talk) 12:11, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Adehemsley: I see that you asked sort of the same question on Talk:Fidelity International#Rebranding and User:Qwertyus answered you saying, If you work for this company, then you should really stop editing this page, at least until you've read WP:SIMPLECOI. This is basically it, maybe also read WP:COI (a longer, more thorough guideline). The advice here is very useful, and may I suggest adding something to your userpage (for full disclosure) like this: I work for Fidelity International and I have read the guidelines at WP:COI and WP:SIMPLECOI about conflicts of interest. I am writing this here for full disclosure. A good example of disclosure is at User:CanalPark. I would also recommend adding something in your edit summaries to any edits you make to pages related to your company, like I work for Fidelity International, check my user page for a full disclosure. Another useful link I can find is WP:FAQ/Organizations. Please also make sure you are aware of WP:NPOV and WP:V. Thanks! (By the way, I moved this to the bottom of your talk page because new messages on these pages are meant to go at the bottom)  Seagull123  Φ  21:48, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
